An excellent winter facility for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing when it snows!! Tracks are regularly groomed, there is adequate parking and a nice warming hut. Sledding facilities are improving and there is also a snowmobile run. Check it out on the internet. Easily accessible from Wilson Creek (between Gibsons and Sechelt.

This is nice and not crazy busy like Hollyburn or Manning Park. You need a 4x4, but you can also get the bus up through Alpha Adventures in Wilson Creek Park Mall.

Dakota is an amazing place to visit! I would go more, if only I had 4 wheel drive on my own car! Trails are fantastic and at varied levels. kids love the toboggan hills and the nice warm up hut is fantastic. Don't consider going without the right vehicle!

We had a great day with Alpha Adventures last weekend - after a 10:30rendezvous we were transported in a 4 X 4 van to Dakota Ridge.Couldn't believe that there was so much snow on top! Nicely groomedtrails and the chance to go off the trails as well. Friendly volunteersmake this 'their' ridge, and you get the feeling that this really is a placefor the locals to go. And the best part? We saw NO ONE other than our group of7 for over 2 hours!

We travelled to Dakota with Alpha Adventures which made the trip fun and safe. As we were with young ones ages 4 and 7 we stuck to the sliding hills and the warming hut. Packed a hearty lunch and stayed warm by the fire to enjoy it. Lots of hooks to hang your things and the ones by fire helped you to dry out a bit before we took the next hill.

Views are incredible, nice double track, can be accessed by shuttle from Wilson Creek.
