My first visit to this bookstore and I'm hooked. Only went in to look around and found some wonderful piano music and quilting books. Could have spent a lot more time here but I had other plans for the day.

This shop has everything you could possibly hope for in terms of your reading needs. Books of every sort in good condition and reasonable prices. Expect to find what you are looking for. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about their inventory.

The rabbit warren of rooms, loaded with books, not just on the shelves, but anywhere they can be stashed is a treasure trove. As a bed and breakfast owner in Penticton, I am surprised how word has spread, I have had guests who have come JUST to visit the Book Shop.

They have a huge collection of old and new books, as well as gifts and cards. It's a great place for collectors and browsers, with very helpful staff.

Huge selection of used books, tapes, videos, disks...and they buy as well as sell. Browsers beware - you'll be hooked for a long time! Easy walk up main street from the lake hotels.

Fantastic collection of books, organized neatly into interesting categories. Most of the books I found were about half price, which seemed somewhat high for used books. Central location in the downtown.

This book store has been in business for over 30 years. If you are looking for a book, I bet they will have it. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Just wandering around this shop is interesting and I bet you don't leave empty handed. Have your list of books with you because your mind will be blown away by the sheer volume of reads under this roof.

This is a wonderful bookstore full of aisles that lead thru a maze of interestingly categorized used books and a movie selection that may just have every movie ever put to disc. A delight to visit with friendly staff(and pets) who are there to help or leave you alone, whichever you prefer. If you are at all interested in books then it is a must visit right on Main St in the downtown core. I have been here many times and every visit yields new surprises.

My idea of a perfect bookstore: you go in looking for something special, but end up browsing for hours because you see so many interesting titles. This place is it! Totally worth a visit.

Stopped in on a recent visit to Penticton. They have an amazing selection of used books. Sorting must take them the better part of the day but they are well organized. I bought a book about German foods, not really a cookbook but more about the history of German foods. Never seen another like it. If you like books, make sure you stop and plan to spend an hour at least.

An amazing book shop, tons of titles and used books for each and every budget. I lost almost two hours wondering inside and looking into every corner, just to find a lot of treasures! A must in downtown Penticton!
