The hike to the tracks is quite short in a good trail. There are several interpretive boards along the way. Once there the tracks are amazing as well as the scenery around. The hike back is a bit challenging but only for a short distance as you do go uphill.

We were wanting to view this attraction, so we attempted to hike from the parking lot to the flatbed dinosaur area. We got to the top of the ridge, and noticed that the trail was very steep. For those wanting to attempt this hike should make sure that you have great footwear, and possible hiking poles for going down the steep trail. I believe that there is another route that you can take from the Lions Campground, but both of the trails are unmaintained. The best suggestion is to go to the Tumbler Ridge Visitor Centre and pick up a trail guide for the various trails in Tumbler Ridge, and then look at joining a hiking group to view the fossils and the dinosaur tracks. If you choose the group hiking, I believe that it is 10$.
