brooklyn bar & grill

Went in at lunch time for a meal and a beer. Food was okay. Had to listen to the waitress make fun of a person doing a reno for the bar, which I found repulsive for the 15 minutes they were talking about this man behind his back. Also the men's bathroom was so smelly I refused to use it again before I left and I need to. Well walking to pay them at the bar because they didn't bring me the debt machine the owner shouts from across the bar did he pay yet. Please not the tab was like 17.85. Needless to say I will not be going back to this place. Many other bars in new westminster that serve average food and a small selection of craft beer, I suggest going to one of them. Only thing I did enjoy between the jack hammering from the reno was the view. Hope this save some one from a bad experience.

This bar is certainly nothing special but they usually have good drink specials and the food is fine for bar food. The patio does have a great view of the beach/river in the summer.

A nice place with a good atmosphere and interesting decor. The young lady behind the bar was friendly and chatty and the beer good and well priced. Half price apps in the afternoon. A good place to sit is in the 'smokers' area outside that overlooks the river.
