This is one of my favorite museums. The history and displays are world class. A wonderful gem and a must see. We enjoy visiting this museum and viewing all the antiques from this very historical town.

If you're in Ashcroft, this museum is definitely worth checking out. I really enjoyed the section with the mine.

My wife and I have been to many museums in North America and Europe and this Museum is one of the best, and it is in a small town of 1600 people. It is not the Smithsonian nor the Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody, Wyoming, but this one in Ashcroft is well worth the stop.

Ashcroft is always going to be one of those places that one passes thru...probably rather quickly. However a visit to the very good musem is worth while. It gives a good feel to life in the early days of a railway town, the diversity of life, and the people living there. It is full of exibits and the nice lady who showed us around was very helpful.
