agassiz harrison museum

This little museum is a gem. There's an amazing amount of artifacts and information here. I may be biased because some of our family items are housed here. However, this is a good stop for anyone interested in the history of the area. The volunteers do an amazing job.

I have underrated the Museum and should have put more thought into this attraction if I was to rate it again it would be above average to excellent taking into fact how much information this old building contains in regards to the Agassiz area history and the military display as well as the rail road knowledge. This Museum is run by volunteers who know the in and outs shall we say of local fore. Say no more

A surprisingly good museum that has friendly staff and a good collection that tells the story of this region well.

Lots of local history to be found here. Agassiz sits like a small jewel in the scenic Fraser Valley. Agassiz is also home to an annual fall fair, which has won awards over the years. I especially enjoyed seeing a display of dishes belonging to Waltraut Bartel; the dishes survived decades of burial during and following the war in Europe.
