I first golfed here 13 years ago. It seemed like a goat path at the time, but i always liked the layout. Man, I moved back to the area years later and the course is MUCH better. It's true how maturity means everything on a golf course. the greens were firm and faster and the grooming of the course was much improved. Elevation changes, driveable par 4's, tree lined fairways, fescue, sand and water on a few of the holes make it all fun! You can golf 18 with cart for about $45-$55 depending on the time of day, time of year or weekends. Hot dog was the best I've had in years. Friendly, informative staff in the pro shop...good prices too. A real 'family golf' atmosphere where the local members don't shun the guests. Welcoming would be the word...if you're a 10 handicap and expect to break 80 on the first or second time out, forget it. It takes a while....lol. Have fun! Make a tee time in advance during the peak season...there's a reason they're busy.

Surprise...it's a golf course that has been hidden away in the small village of Warkworth and you would not think that it would be the calibre that it is. Extremely well maintained each hole offers something unique. The 8th whole is a real challenge. Staff are great! Restaurant offers a good solid menu, at good prices and the food is very well prepared. If you're a long time golfer or just new...try this location. beautiful course and a really nice walk in the woods.
