sturgeon river house museum

There is a museum of stuffed wild animals. Kind of nice to see. They also have nature trails, but they have not been maintained in a long time. They are well used by the locals.

My daughter and I, we visited the Museum last weekend to see the hall she is going to rent for her next year's wedding. We were more then welcome to take a look around, help was offered and all our questions were nicely answer. Then we took a look at the exhibitions, which were nicely organized, described and labeled. Simply but informative. The old piano is great addition to the building which has it's own charm and atmosphere. It would be nice if someone could repair this beautiful instrument - for the sake of history, as a sponsor for free. It is a privilage for Sturgeon Falls to have a piece of history like River House Museum in it's area.
