Overall the hill is small compared to other like CalabogieHowever; this is a great spot if you live in kingston, belleville, Trenton or surrounding areaIt is a good learning spot for children and first timers like myself! Able to upgrade to their more challenging hills in the span of the dayLines for lifts were quickHowever, upon arrival we had to rent all our equipment and didn't receive any help, the staff were unhelpful and borderline rude As well, there were limited sizes, I witnessed a man not being able to ski because they didn't have his size bootPersonally I was not given any pole as they had none left - very disappointed in thatOverall a bit pricey for what you get but good to start out on

Small hill, yet steep black runs. Never as busy as any other hills in the surrounding 100km. New management, new kitchen chef. If you are local, or you don't want to drive to Renfrew or Barrie or beyond, this is a great value. This is a classic little hill. Two "Ontario" green runs, and three black/blue runs. Quick up on the lift, quick down. If you can ski smokey, you can ski anything in ontario.

Always have a good time at Batawa. Super friendly staff, and the bike trails are great.I spend every winter skiing there as well.

Our family just returned from this ski hill and will definitely not be back. There were no hills between nursery and intermediate, one of the intermediate hills was mismarked as beginner, but was definitely not. Our kids ended up having to stay on the nursery slope which is so flat they had a hard time skiing fast enough to reach the bottom. But the worst was management...there is no special rate for people who stay only on the nursery hill and they initially refused to refund our adult tickets (we were on the hill for less than 30 minutes before realizing our kids would have to stay on the nursery hill). And if that wasn't bad enough, management charged us more for renting a pair of ski boots and helmut than what it would have cost to rent all four pieces (skis, poles, boots and helmet), which I feel is unconscionable. This hill is great for intermediate/advanced skiers but definitely not beginners so if you have young kids beginning to ski this is definitely not the hill for you.

Great hills from easy bunny hills to challenging ones. cost is very reasonable compared to others in the area, and right off the main highway. Excellect place if you love to ski if dont want to drive far. has all the equipment you need for a cheap rental fee.

A small hill but close to Trenton/Belleville with friendly staff, a great chairlift and lots of snowmaking. A perfect place to go for an afternoon or evening of skiing.

Challenging and close. The runs are exciting. The snow is excellent and the lifts run smoothly. Patrollers are friendly and lineups short

A little ski resort with heart and close to the 401 corridor. Several runs - many easy - a couple with some challenge. Good lift and good food inside the lodge.
