My boyfriend surprised me with a trip to Jungle Cat World, we spent the night in the Jaguar den and did the behind the scenes as well. The feeding tour was an experience in itself. Carl, the head zookeeper, was so knowledgeable and friendly, he answered all our questions and is great with the animals. Staying overnight is a must because you get to tour the zoo at night as well. The tiger adventure was the most amazing thing, Carl took us around to see the hyena, serval cat and tiger, again he was super knowledgeable, friendly and really wanted us to have a great time, while making sure the animals were comfortable. I can't wait to do this again!!

Our first trip to Jungle Cat World was with a 2 year old and 6 year old and both loved having the freedom to explore safely within the grassy fenced-in property. The direct interaction with the animals was unique and what memories are made of. We returned for a behind the scenes experience and will definitely do it again. The staff made you feel part of the family and the one-on-one with the animals is surreal.

My mum, brother and I spent the afternoon at JCW. It was quite a drive from Hamilton but it was SO worth it! The staff were excellent. They were so friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. They didn't just treat us like a paying customer they treated us like we were their friends. We did the behind the scenes program and got to meet Mo the black and white ruffed lemur who was so friendly. shoulders and ate grapes. We met the beautiful serval whose name escapes me, but she was so friendly and laid right down next to us and lastly we met Contessa the 6 month old tiger cub who was gorgeous and so well behaved. The staff are so knowledgeable and so good with all the animals plus they took some lovely pictures for us. The animals all look so happy and they were so much more interactive than in most other zoos. I could go on and on about what a lovely place this is, but I think you should go and see for yourself. If your an animal lover then I guarantee you will love this place.

My fiance and I stayed in the Safari Lodge at Jungle Cat World last weekend. We were amazed at the size of the room and the add ons that came with it. They left us eggs, bacon, juices, pancake mix, coffee, tea, cereal, milk, cream, wine, 2 bottles of beer and more. The room was gorgeous. More like an apartment. And the decor was really amazing making me feel like I really was in Africa. After hours when the park closed we had to option of going out to visit the animals at any time we wished. We went out at around midnight and could see and hear the wolves howling. What an incredible experience. The next morning after breakfast we did the Behind the Scenes tour and spent time with a striped hyena, a lemur and Contessa, the baby tiger. It was an experience neither of us will ever forget. The staff was amazing, very friendly and very knowledgeable. I would love to go back soon.

Jungle Cat World is amazing for any animal lover. The animals are well fed and seem generally happy. The Behind the Scenes program was educational and interactive, I have never experience anything else like it. The tiger we met was playful and energetic. I cannot wait to go again in the summer!

My girlfriend and I spent the coldest day of the year (so far) at JCW. We had a Behind the Scenes tour and spent a lot of time with the Serval, Fennec Fox and Contessa, the young Tiger. We were treated incredibly well by the staff who accommodated us with coffee and hot chocolate and lively banter while we waited for our tour. We were also given 2 passes to come back again due to the cold temps because all of the animals would be hidden away in their dens. This was our second time visiting Jungle Cat World and we will definitely be going back. We certainly recommend a visit if you'd love to see the variety of animals they keep. Sure, it may be a bit dated, but honestly, we were there to see the animals. Do I care that the bathrooms aren't gold-plated? No. Do I care that there aren't prepared trails to get from one place to the next? No. I am perfectly capable of walking in the grass among the water foul. Are the habitats safe for the animals? Yes. Should you worry that animals can get out of them as some others have suggested? Not a chance. The only negativity appears to be coming from the condo loving anti-zoo crowd.Have fun and take your time. It's not a massive complex, so you needn't race through the zoo like it's a chore.

Jungle Cat World is the perfect place for animal lovers. Whether it be for a walk around the zoo, the behind the scenes program, or an overnight stay at the B&B, we always love visiting. The animals are beautiful and well cared for and there are often cubs so new reasons to visit even if you have been before. We were married at Jungle Cat World in December and through this process we realized just how hard the staff at Jungle Cat World works to make their customers happy and how much they love the animals. Ashlee, Christa, Wolf and Kim were amazing in planning - making sure that everything worked out perfectly. Carl and Candice did an animal interaction for our guests and went out of their way to make sure everyone loved it. Jungle Cat World was able to accommodate most of our guests in the B&B for the night and our guests still rave about how memorable it was, how beautiful the B&B rooms are, and how much they enjoyed a feeding tour with the zookeepers in the morning.

We recently had the priveledge of experiencing their 'Behind the Scenes' program. Spending up close and personal time with the Hyenas, Serval cat, and the Amur Tiger was exhilarating, and for such a wonderful cause. Every time I visit, the staff is excellent, caring, and so willing to share their knowledge and experience. I highly recommend this zoo to anyone. Awesomeness!!!!

This is yet another beautiful 'behind the scene' experience at the Jungle Cat World - only this time, w/ a 5 month old tiger cub Contessa. The friendly staff that greeted us and provided us w/ essential information and the knowledgeable zookeepers that guided our interactions w/ the animals made it apparent that they are passionate about providing the most incredible experience for animals and people alike. We really recommend visiting this place and we are looking forward to returning for another 'behind the scene' adventure, thank you JCW :)

We were pleasantly surprised by this place! THe animals are well cared for, and although it isn't fancy, it also doesn't charge fancy prices. If you have a reason to be in this area I recommend it. The staff are awesome, they really know their stuff and want to share it.

This past week I had the pleasure of visiting Jungle Cat World! All the staff are very friendly and helpful. They were always available to answer questions through email, as well as over the phone and the experience was as wonderful upon arrival. The zoo is fantastic and the tours they offer are incredible. I went on the Behind the Scenes Tiger Adventure and got to get up close with three animals of my choice from the list they offer including a tiger. It was an amazing experience and I would highly recommend it. Great staff, amazing animals, and an overall incredible experience. It is great for all ages and definitely something animal lovers need to check out.

My sister, nephew and I went to Jungle Cat World for our third time, but this time we had the pleasure of staying overnight in the Safari Lodge. It was AMAZING. They thought of everything. We brought our own dinner but they had snacks, tons for breakfast - bacon, fresh eggs, juice, cheese, bread, champagne, wine - everything you could possibly need at your home away from home. That is exactly how we felt - at home. We did the Behind the Scenes tour with their lovely 4 month Tiger. What a wonderful experience. If you stay over, be prepared to hear the call of the wild throughout the night. Was amazing!! Go for the day, or treat yourself and stay overnight!

What a way to bring in the New Year. We go to Jungle Cat World every few months. This time, we stayed over to celebrate the New Year. We did the Behind the Scenes again. The room was way beyond our expectations. Ashlee and Christa welcomed us and our room was so incredible. It was clean, so well stocked with food, coffees, teas, cheese, wines, bacon, fresh eggs. There were three of us and our room had everything that we needed and so much more. It was home. It really was. Listening to the animals at night was such an experience. Waking up to them was precious. I do recommend this to anyone for a wonderful get away. A night, a couple of nights. It was definitely like being home, but out in the wild. I do think a summer visit is on the list for me.

The zoo is a mess. The animals are beautiful, wonderful, but clearly stressed and sad. I'm not an expert on wild animals, but anyone can see how depressed these animals are. They need larger spaces, more staff to take care of them, and more funding going into their wellbeing instead of into the pockets of owners. I would be happy to volunteer my time, as would others.

This place for the $ has it all. We loved it. It wasn't the nicest day, weather wise but all the animals were out. I would recommend this to all. They say in the summer they have shows with the animals. For sure we will return
