the gut conservation area

Gorgeous falls....beautiful spot.....horrible rugged drive in....especially after rain.....but once you get past the rough road in.....you will not be disappointed...bonus too it's very quiet and has not been disturbed as a lot of people don't know about this spot.....o yeah be careful off the trail there is poison ivy...

Once found the falls were great. Very poorly sign posted and the entry track needed careful navigation. Once we arrived at the parking space there were no signs to the waterfall and gorge. The obvious track, the Gut Trail, is the wrong one. The narrow path to the left is the one to take. The steps to the top of the gorge are good and the views breathtaking. We went along the Gut Trail for 2 miles but apart from seeing a deer were unimpressed.
