My first experience at Lighthouse theatre was over 20 yrs ago!!! My mother(from Ireland) loved Patsy Cline,so for her 80th? birthday bought tickets for her & another elderly friend to see this performance. It was amazing, both of them loved it as did I!! Great talent for a "small theatre" Since then have been to 2 other plays at Lighthouse, thoroughly enjoyed both. Need to go more often! Would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a great theatre experience at a $$rate that does not break the bank!!!

We saw an excellent production of a new Norm Foster play, well acted and directed, very impressive set. Interesting old building. Leg space in the balcony where we were rather tight.

Gentleman's Clothier was my favourite play this season. A great job by all the actors. Norm Foster plays never disappoints us and this one kept us laughing this afternoon. Love coming to Port Dover each summer for lunch at various restaurants in town and an afternoon at the Lighthouse Festival Theatre.. Thanks to all who strive to keep us entertained.argiesmom

We have been attending productions at the Lighthouse Theatre for several years. Its always a pleasant few hours but this season's production of "Trying" really stands out from the rest. It is intense ,thoughtful, engaging and bitter sweet. Extremely well acted and directed. Worth the drive to Port Dover.

Just a great little operation. We caught a matinee on a Tuesday (the fixer upper) and it was hysterical. Charming way to spend an afternoon or an evening.

Second trip to Lighthouse to see play, this one was last night of performance & so glad I didn't miss it!! Was such a great comedy and so much laughter! Don't know how anyone could not laugh, it was so well done. Actors were amazing and kept straight faces & performed so well while having audience in fits of laughter throughout the play! Kudos to Lighthouse Theater once again for a great evening out!

I was there for the foursome play and it was absolutely brilliant and hilarious - I have attended many plays and this literally was one of the best performances I have ever seen. The comedic timing and acting was first rate!

The Festival celebrates its 35th anniversary with a series of plays. Test Drive tells the story of Earl, an ordinary man and car dealer who sees life through the prism of his beloved AMC automobiles. We travel with him through marriage, children and grandchildren from 1954 to 2004. The fun part is that all 15+ characters are played by only 3 super talented actors. The play was brilliantly directed on a beautiful set and lit with exquisite taste.

"The Foursome" a comedy by Norm Foster is a hilarious look at what men really talk about when on the golf course, I knew there was more than hooks and slices, birdies and bogies, but this play runs the gambit from university experiences to divorces and job loss - lots of real moments and real fun to watch..The theatre is small but charming, there are no bad seats, the ticket prices are reasonable and season tickets are available, the small town offers lots of restaurant choices to enjoy locally caught fish either before or after the performance.Give it try.
