The Kee to Bala has been a legend for many peoples memories. Its the most fun I have ever had at a concert. The Bala is such a great area to vacation in, but throw an awesome concert in there and your having the time of your life. I have seen many concerts there and its such a neat place with the balcony, it feels like your in a bar with live music. Go check it out, you'll love it!

Went to see Blue Rodeo at the Kee on Thanksgiving Sunday. This was my first time going to the Kee and I now see why everyone loves this place! It's such a great venue. Whether you are in the second floor balcony seating or standing on the first floor I don't think there are any spots where you can't see the band. Had a great time, looking forward to going again. Line up early if you want a second floor seat.

Well, it's the end of cottage season here in Ontario so we decided at trip to the Kee was in order. My favorite band was playing, Blue Rodeo, so we ordered up our tickets online. We arrived about an hour early and had a drink at the pub beside (wish I could recall the name). Decided, on the advice of one of the ladies with us, that lining up about 40 minutes early could nab us a seat on the balcony. We were let in, in an orderly fashion and managed a seat on the balcony to the side. Perfect view, but the accousitics were definitely not as good as center. It's a beauty of a venue rich with history. We love the Kee!

Loved it! My first time at the Kee, my girlfriends' second. Saw the Trews and had a phenomenal time. Will definitely be back next summer.

The 'Kee To Bala' provides exciting live entertainment for the locals and tourists who love some fun and dance time away from home. Feel and enjoy the music from wonderful artists and bands at this 'hotspot' in Cottage Country. Plan an overnight stay at the Bed & Breakfast Inns, Motels, or book an Outdoor Private Cottage for the luxury of the experience. Bala is the Cranberry Capital of Ontario and does not exceed more than 1,000 in population. The Cranberry Growers are owned and operated by the Wahta Mohawks who have taken pride in the crops produced every year which feeds the entire region and contributes to the unique Cranberry Industries. Take part in Bala's Cranberry Festivals during the Harvest Season and sample the special tastes from the local Bala Winery. Families will rave about the fun and games at the Festivals and view the fireworks. Try some of the delicious Cranberry Crepes with Cranberry Syrup, and purchase some of the homemade baked goods and preserves readily available. While at the 'Kee To Bala' schedule some time to visit the Bala Falls Road and see the antique cars and boats and other historical collections. The Bala Museum and The Marsh Tours are also favorites. The 'Kee To Bala' is a 2 hr. drive N. of the City of Toronto and the trip is spectacular. Visit the 'Kee to Bala' on your next trip up to Cottage Country in Bala Muskoka Ontario to hear great music and tour the scenic sites.

We attended the Kee to Bala for a Sam Roberts concert recently. It was our first visit, so I am not able to comment on what it would be like for other events. The place is huge, but it fills up! There is the main floor and then the upper floor which surrounds the main floor over looking it. The bar tenders we nice, and we even got to try the Shot Ski (essentially 6 shots lined up on a ski and everyone takes the shot at the same time by lifting the ski up). The outside patio is also huge, which was good cause it got hot inside after awhile. !I hope to make it back here again for another event

Was here on the Labour day weekend to see Sam Roberts- always a great show- we have been here many years in a row and I always complained about the washrooms, but to my surprise, they have done some renovations in the washrooms. Initially, it looks SO much better, but they have removed all the sinks they had before and replaced them with 2 small sinks! Really? You know how busy it gets in there? The floor also seemed new, but I don’t think they replaced the actual stalls and toilets- they should haveSeems like they are also working on some other renovations in the bar. I did notice an improvement Drinks are expensive, but overall, we always have a great time

The Kee holds 1200 people - most standing on the main floor in front of the stage. If you want a place to sit, best to line up before the concert to grab one of the wooden booths on the upstairs balcony. But note these are not comfy padded seats. Just wooden benches. There were lengthy lineups for the ladies washrooms, especially between acts. Also lineups to go outside to the deck and back if you want to smoke.Bartender upstairs was super efficient. Never much of a line there and he kept the beer stocked (including organic).Expect to be frisked when you arrive. Of course, no outside booze allowed. Security was evident throughout the night but not in your face. Only downside if finding a place to stay. Book early as the local accommodations fill up quickly.

This place has been in Bala, Ontario for years and the place to go to for local entertainment. Ticket prices are reasonable for the bands they book in plus are never disappointing. I am still amazed on the distance that people will travel to this to be entertained! Building is well maintained and can be very busy depending on the band that has been booked in.

My boyfriend surprised me with a trip to Bala to see Tim Hicks and the show was amazing! We'd been to see Tim Hicks in Peterborough not long ago but the atmosphere of this venue was amazing! This was my first trip to the Kee and even though we didn't get to experience the patio, the show was great! We sat on the upper level at a little table behind the "vip section/adirondack chairs" near the bar and the windows were open so there was a wonderful breeze and you could see the stars from your table. The drinks were plentiful and the sound quality of the show was great! I would not hesitate to see another show here, and next time maybe we'll have time to check out the patio first :)

Love this place, the best bands all in a historic NORTHERN feel theatre on the lake! Cold beer and good times. For the most part good people out for some music and cold beer. Patio is amazing! Great concert series as the bands love this place.

The PLACE is wonderful. The music and character that goes on and on - oh yah! I am an Oldie there!!! None of you would remember when I was around... BUT, IT IS THE LOCATION! BALA IS THE MOST GORGEOUS LITTLE PIECE OF Canadian Geography that exists! SO, PUT A SUCCESSFUL, venue like the KEE in a place as incredibly "ROCK YOUR SOUL" - just with the sound of its OWN WATERFALL!!!! And you cannot MISS!!!! GO AND ENJOY THE SCENERY WHILE YOU ARE THERE!!! A rush like no other....

Only stayed for a drink or two but the view was great. Will go back again too see a concert next summer, hopefully the experience is still positive.
