Very well restored historic site. Engineers and people with a real interest in that period will love the equipment and the restoration techniques. Everyone else will enjoy the beautiful setting, rolling terrain and peaceful surroundings. Nice, easy hiking path for those seeking a stroll in nature and several buildings to visit. Run by dedicated volunteers.

It is always a good day when you can take a slow stroll into the past. There is so much to see here that you must take your time to get it all in. Starting with the several old pieces of farm equipment to the old buildings found on ole farms and on to the old school house. There are paths throughout the property and the grounds are even used today for weddings. When we arrived they in the process of setting up for a wedding. I especially enjoyed the old school house as much of it reminded my husband of his days in a one room school house.

I love to look at the stone wall built to make the dam. Also I have seen much wildlife here. A wonderful place to reflect and to picnic with friends and family.
