Stopped by on our way back from wine tasting and a delightful reward. They make 3 cheeses and we enjoyed all of them. Perhaps a little pricey, but for an occasional treat I'd buy the cheese again.

Upper Canada Cheese has amazing cheese and always things that are a bit different. They do a great job at adding some unique flavours to their cheese like doing a smoked style brie. The cheese is amazing but definitely will cost you to purchase. I get why it is pricey because of the time and effort they put into making it. A must stop when touring the wineries.

The bbq cheese is fantastic and the staff are very knowledgeable. The sauces and breads are delish! Bring your picnic basket and a cooler bag (if you forget, they have cooler bags for purchase)

The staff at the Upper Canada Cheese Company really know their cheese - and they give a very good explanation of how the cheese is made and processed. It was also heartening to know that they support their local partners as their cream comes from the nearby farms. To be honest I found the cheese a little pricey, but the cheese is very good.

We were exploring the Ontario wine region and happened across the Upper Canada Cheese Company, so we stopped. The fromagerie is apparently named for the historical name for this part of Canada. The cheese is quite good, and reasonably priced for artisan cheese. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and will guide you to their products that suit your tastes. The cheese tasting is a lot of fun, and the cheese worth buying to enjoy at home. This is a great place to stop.

Niagara Gold, Guernsey Girl and Comfort Cream are historical favourites. I love the addition of the very yummy smoked Comfort Cream and the move into goat's cheese with Nosey Goat - Nanny Noir and Camelot (a new personal fav). The shop carries other cheeses as well along with other nibbles and delights.

They have an open window inside where you can see the cheese being made. Staff was very friendly and helpful, offering samples. Cheese (or anything else there) is NOT cheap. For a small wedge of cheese be prepared to pay $7+. Small bottles of olive oil, over $20. But if price isn't too much of a concern, drop by and sample their cheeses and buy what you like. Everything I sampled was very tasty.

Great cheese, amazing preserves and cute knick knacks. My husband and I really enjoy the variety of cheese and the amazing bread too. Staff is friendly and generous with samples.

I know that good cheese is very expensive but today's visit was a little bit too much for me. Enjoyed every bite but I am not sure I would say it cost the price I paid for it.Maybe it is what it is ... One stop visit. Been there and done that and that's it.

This is a great place to sample and buy tasty varieties of cheese made on the premises. The owner was friendly and knowledgable. You can even watch the cheese making process through a large window in the retail store. If you want fresh baked bread, they can help you out in that department too. This is a nice thing to do while you tour the many local wineries of Twenty Bench (Niagara On The Lake is not the only game in town).

We stopped here on our way from NOTL to Toronto. We are cheese lovers and were delighted to sample a variety. The Niagara Gold was especially good. However, when we went to buy some, the prices were exorbitant, not only for the cheese but for fresh baked bread as well. We passed and decided we get good cheese and bread in Toronto for half the price.

I really liked finding this little place in the middle of all the wineries. They have daily cheese tasting. We found the maple smoked camembert and "Niagara gold" to be good enough to buy and take home. I would love to go back with more money and bring home some of the cinnamon jelly and peach and pepper chutney they had available there. I really liked the fact that they had local pottery for sale as well as a lot of locally made preserves. The only down side was we got a loaf of bread which was older than we thought which rendered it inedible. Otherwise I highly recommend this very nice place and lovely people.

Liked: the cheese!Disliked: the store is too cramped. Upper Canada Cheese's Niagara Gold is my favourite cheese for pairing with wine.

This store is very unique with a selection of cheeses and gifts that you are unlikely to find anywhere else, however as has been said before, be prepared for some sticker shock when you see the prices.
