Admittance is by donation, so is affordable for everyone. The museum itself is one small building with most of the displays upstairs. Although tiny, it is very well laid out and the displays were very interesting. There is a house as part of the museum next door that is furnished circa 1900. A short 600m walk north will take you to a log cabin, barn and blacksmith barn. The man overseeing that section was very friendly and informative and eager to answer questions. Interesting for the young and old alike.

The walk was nice, it gets dark earlier so i'd suggest early afternoon! I also purchased the Clip-On Off, it was very handy.

This is a charming museum with an additional period house to visit for good measure. Staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and obviously proud of their museum. Some wonderful artefacts about the early days in Haliburton.
