The Coldwater Canadiana Heritage Museum is on the grounds of the old Woodrow farm. The original log house is still on the property and is the main attraction of the site. Quite a few local buildings have been added to the 6 acre site, including a print shop with press, a firehall with antique engines, a carriage house, with old carriages and sleighs, a hairdressers shop a barber shop, along with many other displays . There is a lovely walking trail that runs alongside the Coldwater River, edged by beautiful perennial flower gardens. On Wednesday afternoons starting at 1 pm Devon teas are served in the homestead. It also has a wonderful little gift shop, with local and Guatemalan hand crafted goods. A great place to spend a day.

Checked this local historical museum out when I was in the aera for a visit. It was closed but walked about the grounds for about five minutes. Contents of the various buildings appeared satisfactory and the other buuildings on what one would expect from this type museum that is within the Province of Ontario. I checked their website out when I got home and they they have alot of activities going on throughout the season when they are open to the public. Admission by donation and certainly would have made a contribution from what I saw and personally experienced despite it being closed.
