This is a great golf course. The course and clubhouse are very well maintained. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The Monday 9-hole Ladies Golf and dining experience are fabulous. We are treated very well with treats on the course and prizes at dinner. No membership or commitment is necessary. They even host a customer appreciation night at the end of the season. This club is a real class act. I can' t wait until next season.

We've played Crosswinds a number of times this year. The course is always in great shape and is well maintained. From the pro-shop, to the restaurant and bar, the staff are polite and friendly. Crosswinds is one of the better courses in the area and is reasonably priced.

What a disappointing day at Crosswinds. I teed off at twilight, and was helpfully guided to the back nine for speed of play. The Marshal was also very helpful. But when I finished the back and went to tee off on #1, I was met by Graham the Inquisitor, who was very concerned that I might be playing more golf than I paid for. This is at 8:30 pm with 10 minutes of daylight left.Incredible that they would try and reduce the value of the experience this way. Last time I checked, twilight golf is not 9 holes, and this was not mentioned when I purchased the green fee.Twilight green fees are reduced to attract golfers. Key word "attract". Way to go supercop, you've lost a customer for life, and all of the people I can influence, and my daughters weddings, and company tournaments. For something that would have cost you nothing.

This is a course that takes you back in time when service was always amazing. They cover it all; from special items in the bathrooms to freshen up, to gorgeous change rooms, to comfortable lounge chairs in the dining room. From the Pro-Shop to the dining room - this place is truly a gem. Incredibly polite staff and management! We ran a fundraising tournament here in the spring and it was such a pleasure. I highly recommend this course for a 'NINE & DINE' date night, all the way to booking a few hundred to play a tournament... I am sure it won't disappoint. And of course - the course itself is beautiful and peaceful. 5-Star.

Just had a wonderful visit yesterday to Crosswinds Golf and Country Club with my husband and our favourite golfing friends. The course is just beautiful and in pretty good shape considering the miserable winter. The greens were still suffering a little bit but when they come back completely, they'll be great. Quite challenging. I loved the big wide fairways on a lot of the holes as well. The carts are equipped with a small gps unit (like a sky caddy) so that's handy. Ladies will also be pleased to know that there are washroom facilities at various locations on the course too. The pro shop is well stocked and all the staff were very friendly. The beverage and snack cart made sure we were well taken care of on the course as well. Play was a bit on the slow side but not all that bad although we did have a problem with the group behind us hitting into us occasionally. We couldn't go any faster since we had to wait for the group in front of us too. We thoroughly enjoyed our first time at Crosswinds though. After we played we had dinner at the Pebblestone Pub at the clubhouse. Service was very friendly and efficient. We all had the special of the day which was prime rib on a bun with fries. It was delicious served with a little bowl of gravy for dipping. So glad we didn't bother driving to another restaurant to have dinner. Our day at Crosswinds was certainly worth the drive out from Toronto for us!

I am not a member of any courst in Ontario but I consider this course my "home course."The course weathered the winter well and is already in great shape. Like most courses the greens took a bit of a beating with the weather but not as noticeable here as many other courses I have played already this year. The price for the course you play is outstanding. The course itself can be very challenging, especially when the wind decides to play that day.The rounds can be a bit long at times, 4 1/2 hours or so, but the guys working the course do their best to keep the slow players moving.Service in the pro shop, on the course, at the 1/2 way house, and in the restaurant after the round has always been outstanding.Cant wait for my next round there............this weekend!!

My wife and I had our wedding at Crosswinds on September 7, 2013 and had a fantastic time! Heather (the event coordinator) went above and beyond our expectaions in order to please us. She responded to emails quickly and ensured that our event went off without a hitch. The venue itself is beautiful and the great room is very flexible in regards to layout and decor. The outdoor ceremony site was picture perfect. We were provided with a 6 person golf cart and a driver to take us throughout the course to take pictures. Crosswinds staff were friendly and very accomodating to our needs. We were able to customize our menu and they brought in anything that was not normally available (specific food, and alcohol). The food was hot, fresh and terrific! (we even had an oyster bar with a shucker keeping everything stocked and fresh)I highly recommend this venue to anyone that is looking to book an event. You will definitley not be disappointed.

Crosswinds is always a great experience. The wind was blowing yesterday and it made our game that much tougher. Crosswinds allows for all levels of golfers to have a challenge. The have a 'combo' set of T-boxes which should be standard at ALL golf courses but is not. It allows those with mid-teen handicaps to try their skill at something a bit more challenging. Despite my own play … I enjoyed Crosswinds. A great pro-shop greeting … a Starter … electric carts with GPS … AND the course is very walkable. The course is in great condition … but it was damp due to the excessive rain we've had this summer. I'll be back … a great value for Seniors as well!

Crosswinds is an average golf course that is always in good condition. Use the right tee blocks for your skill level or you will have a bad round. The service is better than at most private golf courses and they cannot do enough to make sure you have a good day.

Booked a Sunday 10:20 am tee time @ $108. Didn't bother to tell us a tournament of mostly non-golfers would be right in front of us. After playing 3 holes in 1 1/2 hours, the rain came.Asked for a rain check and I couldn't believe they actually pro-rated it for the 3 holes we played at $6 / holeWill use up rain check but will never go back after that

Nice golf course but over priced for its location and offerings. Club house is very nice and the course condition was okay after this delayed spring.
