wiarton willie statue

One More Item off my bucket list. A Balmy -14 with a nice breeze blowing in off the frozen bay and about 250 hardy visitors waiting for a cute rodent named Willie to tell us that Winter is over.February 2nd 2015. To almost quote Walter Cronkite. What sort of day was it? A day like any other day filled with those events that illuminate and change your life and YOU are there!Next year it will be Willie's Diamond Jubilee. Since Willie is on the payroll of our Government I think it would be appropriate to have a medal struck in honour of this auspicious event.

I live in wiarton and I think you would love it there. The blue water park is a awesome park for kids and a great fishing spot. In the summer you can jump off the dock at blue water park. Love it there <3

The park is beautiful. Love the view of the water. So peaceful and bright blue!The statue it's self is pretty cute. I love him.

Cute Statue of the famous Ground Hog. Nice place to take a picture since it is right on the waterfront. kids would love it.

We were told about the statue so as we were passing through Wiarton we stopped to see it. I do not see the point of it & it is not worth going out of your way for. It might appeal to children
