A beautiful building, very well preserved. I have enjoyed several first class activities here, excellent acoustics. Very comfortable. You wish leaving that you could have a stereo system with the same great acoustics !!

a jewel of arquitecture in Mayaguez. If you have the opportunity visit it. The most interesting is the rock glass lamp, one of a kind.

Once a private own theater was buy under the administration of Honorable Benjamin Cole (RIP). After invest lots of money the theater re open to the public. Many shows, graduation, comedy stand up and many more. Was open for fine arts. Three floor plants plus private balcony.

This is an antique theater and they always have very good shows. The shows may not always be for teenagers but are very good for adults and young adults.

The Teatro Yaguez has been restored to its glory days. Beautifully new seats, balconies, stairs with it's preserved stunning chandelier that disappears when the show begins! This was my playground as a child, as it was built by my grandfather, Francisco Maymon Palmer.

The Yaguez Theatre is very classic with some touches of modern. It is well preserved and pretty. The floors, curtains and seats are very nice.

A beautiful structure that has been well preserved. The grandeur of the old day can be seen in the interior of this beautiful building. The chandelier is expectacular.

The Theatre is everything I said it wold be and more. There are functions currently taking place although not as often as I would like. You could expect, Musicals, Concerts, Plays and Cultural Events. Many times free of charge. A true landmark. Visit or go on line to observe future, special events. Raised in Mayaguez I never had the chance to enter the Yaguez theatre because it was considered a run down landmark. In my last travel to Mayaguez, 2008. I had a chance to pass by the the theatre and was amazed at what I saw. The theatre has been renovated and restored to its original grander and then some. The exterior is not much to get excited. However, the interior appeared to contain marble, crystal chandeliers, velvet seats and balconies. I did not view during a live showing. Nonetheless, for such a small town to have such an opulent theatre. It would be interesting to see what live shows are presented if you get the chance. Shows may be in Spanish (possibly English) so be forewarned. If you get the chance to enter during the day, it seems to be an excellent place to have a camera handy. You may feel as if you entered a new part of the world once inside.

ESte Teatro es el Corazón de la Ciudad alli hicieron la rendición de Cuentas del Alcalde y es un lujo. Conocer el Teatro Yaguez nos lleva a conectarnos con la hospitalidad y la alegría del Mayaguesano hasta pusieron música de Mon Rivera. Visitelo porque esta cerca de la Plaza y pegado a la Alcaldía donde podrá tomar fotos de la Plaza. En navidad la Plaza es un espectáculo. Si pudiera me fuera a Puerto Rico desde Thanksgivin hasta el !9 d enero ´porque es lo mejor pasarlo en borinquen

¿Cuantos no recuerdan las reuniones de los domingos en el Teatro Yaguez en los tiempos de estudiantes? Esto es pura tradicion Mayaguezana.

Lugar hermoso, tiene una lámpara en el centro espectacular. Llevan constantemente buenas cantidades culturales. El espacio entre las butacas un poco incómodo para mi gusto.
