We had the place almost all to ourselves. We took a personal car, and honestly I don't know how you arrange a taxi or something but there were taxis in the parking lot so I know it can be done.Get to the parking lot then take the really easy trail for about 500 meters or so and then climb down a flight of stairs and you arrive at the waterfall. The swimming area is not large and only a bit of it is deep at all but it is cool and refreshing and well maintained and cared for with hardly any litter or graffiti or anything like that.We only ended up spending an hour or so there because it started raining and not all the group was swimming but we could have easily brought a lunch with us and spent the afternoon taking in the beautiful canyon and the falls.

Great spot, shady but fairly long hike, and quite steep in spots (~25min down, 40 back up). It's fairly straightforward, but a few side trails, so a guide is recommended ("included" in the price of admission/parking, but will expect a couple dollars tip).If going to Constanza, recommend seeing the falls on the way back. The beautiful road to Constanza often clouds up early, so best to go there first (and then back to the hotel for a shower after the hike, it's not very hot there but can be super-humid...;-)A bit hard to find, small gate and tiny sign...on the left as you're heading south from Jarabacoa.

great to go rafting in the area, real fun with Rancho Baiguate. while we were there the river was a bit low, but I can only imagine how great it can be on a nice sunny day when the river levels are high.

Find a tour that will take you repelling down the falls from a river hike up above, you won't regret it! So much fun!

We went to the Jarabacoa waterfalls as a day trip with a city tour of Saniago. The water falls were amazing. Many great photo opportunities. Lots of stairs to climb up and down but not that difficult. You get to rest and relax at the bottom for awhile to take pictures and cool off in the water, very cold. Very pretty place to see.

I had a ride horsing tour from Rancho Baiguate hotel when I stay there. Stuff is so kind and carefully. Nature is so nice. End point is the waterfall. Actually it does not give me more sense because I saw the best waterfalls in the world. But 2 hours ride horsing is excellent.Thank you guys.

Breathtaking! Salto Baiguate is surrounded by nature. You can easily spend the entire day sun bathing and relaxing in its refreshing fresh water. Do not forget to bring snacks as there is barely any infrastructure nearby.

Just outside of Jarabacoa and along a winding road will bring you to the parking lot for the Salto Baiguate. Stroll along the cement path and then down the steps to the base of a beautiful waterfall and pool. You can also reach the top by the same path or climb the rocks. Very peaceful and relaxing. Take a lunch and spend an hour.

Off the beaten path and a challenge to find. We were the only hikers on the trail and enjoyed a great afternoon.

Good way to spend a couple of hours and enjoy the scenery. Have taken the horse trip from Rancho Baiguate and driven up to the entrance. Waterfalls are beautiful and the water is very cool and a welcome refresher. Recommend visiting if you have a little free time.

If you are going to be in Jarabacoa the Salto Baiguate is a must see. There is no info there and if can be difficult to find. Maybe someday there will be more to the place.

Loved this excursion! We road very calm and tame horses across a shallow river and allow the river until we reached the park area. Then on foot we travelled, not very far, and we came upon a beautiful waterfall and shallow water with sand to wade and swim in! Again, it's a must do!! Enjoy!
