We went to the Delfinario in March 2014 as part of a package excursion. First stop was Pilar Beach (nothing special, pay for a beach chair and pay for your drinks, both of which are included in at your resort, and the beach will be bigger at the resort as well) then on to play with the dolphins. The "pens" that the dolphins are in aren't fancy and the area isn't built up architeturely, but the animals have lots of room and the trainers seem to interact well and care very much for them. For under $400 CUC 4 of us interacted with the dolphins and received disks containing all the pictures that had been taken during our encounter. That is a saving of over 50% from Dolphin Cove in Jamaica. We really enjoyed our 20 minutes in the water, it was the perfect end to our vacation.
