Interesting, inexpensive venue ivy the Marina. Souvenir shops are nearby as is a small restaurant/ bar overlooking the docks. Easy to combine with the local snorkelling trips offered at the resorts.

Small but excellent little site. Not to be missed in Cayo Largo. Don't forget to bring some Nutrafix basix turtle food by Hagen. A 360 gr jar is best.

seemed more like a rouse to get you to buy stuff at the vendors in the village....its nice to see that they are doing something to protect turtles but all that you saw was a couple of small concrete pools with a few turtles swimming around....wasn't like you learned anything or had a guide showing you around...pretty boring for an attraction that they rave about.

Small - just a few tanks of turtles up to one year old. They grow fast. You can touch them and feed them.

The best dollar you can spend in Cayo Largo! Located near the marina and includes food for you to feed the turtles. Kids will love this!

Not much to it but it is 2 cucs. Some some "pools" with different ages of sea turtles. Get up close and can touch. Some were picking them up but not sure you should do that.

Closed between 11:45 to 1:15, normally 12-1 but cuban time, you know... not really on time...and even some...so go at 2 or 10 am...

I love animals and this place was great. It's definitely a short visit, you don't need to be here longer than 30 minutes. It cost 1 CUC/person. They have baby turtles all under a year in different pools (2 months old turtles in one, 7 months old turtles in another, etc). THey provide food there to feed them and they also explain what they do there. We came by scooter that we rented at the hotel. You can also come here on a tour or by taxi.

We took a little bus trip into the village and a visit to the Sea Turtle Hatchery was part of the tour. It was so interesting to see these beautiful creatures so closely. We were able to pick up and touch the turtles. The turtles loved having the back of their shell stroked and actually swam pressing against your hand, just as though you were petting a dog! That was so amazing! The staff told us about the sea turtles and their role at the hatchery. We enjoyed our visit to the Sea Turtle Hatchery very much.

Similar to the ones we have seen elsewhere in the Caribbean. The talk was interesting. Not too many turtles to see.

We went here in order to get a mini break from the hotel. For 1 peso per person and 1 peso for a handful of fish food, you can feed several (5-6) tanks filled with various sized turtles. It was a short 15 minute visit but fun and well worth it. Afterwards you can visit the vendor carts near by and stay for a while in the dock side restaurant. Best part... picking up huge turtles and taking pictures with them.

We wandered in and around. There were some turtles sorted by size swimming in circles in very small pools. No staff anywhere to be seen.

This takes only 30 minutes of your time. It will cost you 3 pesos. It is located at La Marina. You can touvh the turtles... but be careful ask before there is one kind that bites.

This beach is large, with a very fine white sand. From Plaja Blanca there are free busses and catamarans, I think 3 times per day. At the bus stop there are also few places where you can buy souvenirs, rom, cigars. It's a nice area, bars and restaurants there are a nice shelter from the hot sun. At the place where you embark on the catamaran there are two dauphins, which are a nice attraction. The specific white and black birds will appreciate your bred crumbs. It's a very nice place.
