I would have missed out on these had I not happened to read about these trees on the internet before planning my trip. These are unique palm trees in the sense that have multiple branches. Moreover, Diu is the only place in India said to be having these trees. Take your camera out and capture these trees for the backdrop of your pictures.
Mananjay
It is a fruit unique especially to Diu. It is red in colour with a hard cover and yellow meat inside. It has a weird smell. The palm shaped trees with multiple branches can be seen all over Diu linnig the paths. Vendors can be seen selling them at Nagoa Beach. It is sweet and has a peculiar taste which everyone may not like.

Hola trees are unique to Diu. They look like palm trees but branch out from almost the ground, to give an impression that there are a number of trees growing from one trunk. I tried the Hoka fruit but didn't like it at all, its kind of baseball sized with a rough and dry texture and mostly sour taste.

As we drive towards Diu we see this strange Palm tree whose branches come out in different directions from a common trunk. It is a strange multi branch Palm tree which we see first time in India. The seed of Hokka Tree is very hard and difficult to break. It is full of fiber and test like jiggery (Gud). Fruit is cute & edible, believed to have medicinal properties.
Kuttyram
When I heard about Hooka Trees, I presumed that the produce of the tree is used to prepare Hookah. This tree dominates the Diu island. The Nago beach, as well as the pathwayd to hotels are lined by Hookah Trees. This is a pal tree that branches into a Y.The fruit is unique, little fibreish and a bit sweet to taste. A must try.
Bajrangsingh
Its somewhat like Khajoor tree difference is just lot many branches and leaves are a bit different in design. Ans yes fruite of Hoka is also big in size in compare with Khajoor there are people under tree who are serving Hoka fruites after cooking. I never tried due to its weared smell
