Worth linking this in with Yaxha, it takes about 2 hours including a great boat journey to get to the site. The ruins are quiet small but different to other nearby sites. The birding was brilliant with views of osprey and 3 different types of heron from the boat and we saw at least 10 different species just in the walk in and around the main temple.

Pleasant 15 minute boat ride to view a few temples. Remoteness is definitely part of the attraction. Howler monkeys were the only other "visitors" when we were there. Bring mosquito repellent!

Boat Ride was Fun..Saw an Alligator, Mayan Ruins. Was on the way to Yaxha. Amazing butterflies near the boat launch!

Un verdadero descubrimiento. Ya sólo llegar hasta allí fue una maravillosa aventura. El paseo en barca fue fantástico. Observar la naturaleza en su estado más salvaje... no tiene precio.
