The whole experience with Tom was fantastic. For an avid bill-fisherman this is a must do, and if you aren't one yet you will be afterwards. One day we released 11 sailfish in less than 2 hours!Tom presents a very personal adventure along with great accommodations and great food. I wish I could have stayed longer and will defiantly be returning as soon as possible.

Tom, Just returned home to 28 degree temps, ice and 30 mph north winds yet I'm smiling ear to ear, tan faced, and super pumped...I had an amazing time in Guatemala and a large part was due to you and Panamax Sailfishing Vacations. Your hospitality, knowledge of Guatemalan culture, and experience fishing those beautiful waters made the trip such a success. I can't thank you enough for your commitment to our good time. You found the fish and they were firing in from all directions like torpedoes. When those Pez Velas come up out of the water jumping and tail walking it's is truly a sight to behold as well as a challenging fight. Hats off to your longtime mate Victor. He was a pleasure to fish with and had us prepped and ready for action the whole time.Again, Thank You! Just a quick thank you and Victor for such a fantastic trip. As you know we have fished in many destinations around the world and can easily say that this was our best ever trip.The fishing, boat, accommodation, your hospitality and the Guatemalan people all far exceeded our expectations.I would most definitely recommend that anyone who fishes with you take a few days extra and take a tour with you up to the highlands, it made our vacation. What an amazing contrast between the coast and highlands, and what great people the Guatemalans are.The fishermen in the UK are most definitely missing a trick here for some superb sailfish. It,s so easy to get to you from the UK, I shall be recommending you with the full knowledge that they will not be disappointed.We shall be back without a doubt, but next time I shall be bringing my son. Doesn't get any better!!!!!! I am a born and raised Alaskan and have done a lot fishing in my lifetime. The Panamax Sailfishing experience is an awesome trip, you can't pick a better Captain and deckhand, and the fishing is spectacular!!! First Class accommodations, boat and crew. I have never worked with a crew that has worked so hard to ensure a positive experience. Being from Switzerland I didnt know what to expect. But fishing with Capt Tom was and catching so many sailfish went past all my expectations. He personally made our trip a 5 star experience. Victor the mate was so fast to hook sailfish it seemed almost everytime. The lodge was a luxury place with fantastich meals and a very nice pool and yard. I highly recommend Capt. Tom and Panamax Sailfishing. My daughter and I cant wait to return!!!

Having traveled extensively throughout the world in search of adventure. I would have to put my fishing trip with Panamax Sailfishing at the very top of the list. Simply an amazing experience on all levels. Captain Tom put on a first class trip for us with no expense spared. Fishing was world class. Boat was spacious and set up perfectly. Food was delicious both in town and onboard. Accommodations could not have been any more comfortable. He also took the time to show us the multitude of cultural attractions while in town. And all for a very reasonable price. Double thumbs up! Can't wait to return next year and do it again. If you're looking for an affordable deep sea fishing experience, this is your captain hands down.

Tom puts on a great experience for his guests. He is extremely accomatating and you are presen ted with all kinds of options for food, drink, and culture. The fishing is always good and the super panga puts you right on level with the sailfish action.
