Great to belong and a great place to visit. If you want to join it's volunteer and you get to get your hands dirty!!!!

After fighting crowds and traffic in Key West, this was a little island of solitude and quiet. Located on the premise of an old fort, the garden is small, but lovely. Plants are well-marked. Staff are volunteers and so helpful. No admission. worth the stop!

This is a nice place.More people should go. Bring your camera. We spent about two hours and will be going back. Nice break from typical tourist type activities. Glad we went.

We did a house and garden tour during a recent trip. It was a great way to see lots of Key West and learn some history.

I loved how their was no cost to visit and the gardens were beautiful. We made a donation before leaving but it was worth it.

We found the garden club while wandering around Key West no fee charged just donations an excellent bargain in this day and age. What we found was a beautiful open air facility filled with tropical trees and plants and very friendly people situated right on the edge of the water. We sat at one of the stone tables and watched a cruise ship come to port with a excellent cooling breeze a must see.

It's beautiful, it's free,it's in an area that is far less tourist-travelled (Higgs Beach), and easy, free parking. A lovely place to spend a a couple of hours and get away from Duval St.

Tucked away inside the remnants of an abandoned fort is this beautiful garden with lots of local flora and fauna. I loved the huge tree with the tunnel running through it. Additionally, it's overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Just lovely and shady. Great stop!

We are glad you enjoyed all the tropical plants. The day you visited was a Key West Orchid Society Fair with many orchids on display and for sale. This event only happens 2 days per year and our usual entrance is changed to the back gate. Sorry for this confusion. Next year we can suggest a better way to organize the flow of people. Thanks for visiting our Key West Garden Club garden.

We were walking the beach fronts, very hot and humid, and found this oasis. Free, but it accepts donations, cools spaces beautiful plants and lovely volunteers. A great break in the routine.

Established in a partially destroyed fort, this was a cool oasis on the beach. Interesting from the historical aspect as well as a lovely garden setting.
