黄河大峡奇观风景区

Unique Caster landscape with 22 twisted bend of Yellow river roaring through the valley, the stone forest here is quite different from Southern City Kunming,it's bare earth with nothing growing, you can take the cable car up to the hill of lookout; and cross yellow river on Sheep skin blow out raft, locally called YangPiFaZi, which is quite fun and not dangerous at all. The walk inside the stone forest can be a bit long, local offers ride of donkey as you can't drive the car in, there are various stories about different figures of what stone looks like. There are also apple trees growing in the area, Sept is right in season and you can buy fresh picked apples from local villagers. I very much enjoyed the trip to there, it takes about over a hour to drive from Baiyin to Jingtai County and another 30 mins to Yellow River Gorges Resort. Ticket was 200RMB yuan to get in, which is about AUD$40, and cable car cost 90RMB.
