wye landing

This is both a public-use boat ramp. There is a large parking area at the ramp, but it fills up early in the day. You can also park along Wye Landing Road. The put-in is the very small sandy beach next to the ramp. This is the first season of kayaking for my husband and me. We didn't have to paddle too far to see waterfoul near the sea grass. The powerboats coming and going from the ramp create quite a wake that can be a challenge if you are still learning how to maintain your stability.
