I never really take the time to comment on my experiences at restaurants, or in this case, a comedy club, but we had such a great time, I wanted to tell people about this place!Sully's Comedy Cellar is downstairs from our favorite restaurant, The Bowman, where we were having dinner on a Friday night. We had dinner and were planning on just heading home, but then our server gave us two free tickets to the show with our check. My husband had a tough day at work and wanted to unwind, so we said why not. When we went downstairs, we were greeted by the club owner who is there every weekend (we know this because we've seen her every time we've gone since) who told us about their special: $20 pays for your admission and all you can drink. We passed since we had free passes, but have gone back and done the $20 deal, which is a bargain considering comedy clubs' drinks can be expensive. This way you know what you're paying up front.Nikki was our waitress and was very friendly, checked on us often and made sure we got "all we could drink" for the twenty bucks we spent a piece. The comedians were really good...there were three, but the last guy was the best. My jaw literally hurt from laughing! There was a jerk who kept talking during the show, but management took care of him quickly and he wasn't a problem the rest of the show. And that hasn't happened since. If you're looking for something different to do, you should try this place! We are now regulars and it's nice how they greet us by our names now when we come. It's a family-run place and they make you feel very welcome!
