old south country club

My friend is a member so I get to play this occasionally and it is always in great shape, the layout is fantastic, and the holes are very memorable. What a great golf course and club!

My wife won a foursome of golf in a school auction and I was the beneficiary. The course (like many private ones) was in immaculate condition. Probably one of the nicest courses I've played in the 25-30 years of playing golf. Challenging holes with unforgiving rough make it difficult but also some holes with character that force you to think. You can score well here in you keep it in the fairway. Clubhouse was very nice with lots of large screen TVs and a nice bar. Plenty of seating.
