herrington manor state park

This park adjoins Swallow Falls State Park. It has a pristine lake with a boat launch (no gas motors), fishing, swimming & canoe, kayak & paddle boat rentals. Area has many picnic tables, each with its own small grill. There is a pavilion and cabins for rental. There is a lifeguard on duty in front of the roped swimming area. Dogs are allowed in the day use areas, just not on the beach. There is a nice concession area with burgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, fries,etc., and clean bathrooms & showers. Staff were friendly and helpful! Visit Swallow Falls, then head over to Herrington Manor for a day on the lake!
