Let me first say that I grew up in the Midwest and don't even like the water! But my husband does, so I surprised him for our anniversary and chartered the Sea Joy with Captain Darryl and First Mate Sandy for half a day. A 38 foot beautiful custom-built sailboat all to ourselves. Wish I'd sprung for the whole day. Both of us had a great time, and my husband thanked me repeatedly. We spent time talking to Darryl and Sandy, and spent time by ourselves on deck. Inside is a beautiful teakwood cabin. If you have a special occasion - or not - a great way to spend a summer day. And a great seafood place, the Yellow Fin, nearly within walking distance.
