This museum has real-life artifacts like iron lungs, hospital beds, displays showing medications, etc. very, very interesting. The tour guides do a wonderful job. Enjoy

This was a fabulous walking tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and had grown up on the hospital grounds and knew a lot of personal stories. His assistant had a binder of black and white photos of the original buildings on the campus, many of which are no longer standing. We will go back to tour the Public Health Museum for sure. I highly recommend this tour.

One of the last state run hospitals left in Massachusetts. The grounds are beautiful and the architecture amazing. This little museum is the in the main building...a treasure

Small museum with a niche theme, but worth the trip. I'd recommend a drive around the hospital campus as well. Only $5 admission is a bargain, and you might get an interesting tour.
