Being from the UK, I'm used to seeing buildings from the 13th century and earlier. It was great to be able to see something this old in the USA. Some people baulk at the gift shop, but the upkeep has to be paid for in some way.

It is amazing that this house has lasted almost 400 years! Life styles have sure changed. House has period furniture. A gift shop is attached. Fee is a donation.

It is a cute little house, located next to the Jenney Museum. There was $2 donation to go in. It was worth it. It was hard to believe how low the ceiling was and how tiny the house was compared to the houses we live in now. I recommend it

Was a bit disappointed with the Richard Sparrow House. When hearing it was the oldest house in Plymouth I definitely wanted to see, but upon entering found a little gift shop, and then only one room to see with very little historical information. I believe it's on donations only so I don't feel ripped off or anything, but just not what I was expecting. Still worth a visit, but if you're expecting a historical tour and a lot of info you'll be disappointed. Some of the items in the gift shop did seem nice but expensive.

You can go though this house but you cant go upstairs? I like seeing the architecture of old houses and how they are built.

This is a wonderful small "museum" to visit while in Plymouth. The main part of the house is a gift store that only sells products made by artists in the United States. Absolutely beautiful, BEAUTIFUL products. I'm a bit of a minimalist, but was so tempted several times by the hand-thrown pottery. The lady working that day (July 10th, noon) was so sweet and pleasant. It was such an enjoyable stop.

A good glimpse of what life was like for the settlers. From the low height of the doorways, the narrowness of the stairway, and the simple furnishings you get a sense of what their life was like. I would recommend not just peeking in but spend some time in reflection.

This two room museum & shop is a quick look into the simplicity of Pilgrim life. They ask for a donation, but don't demand an admission fee. The gift shop is a step or two above the touristy kitsch! Take a few minutes to see the house. It's right near the grist mill and the cemetery.

This is the oldest timbered house in Plymouth which makes it worth a visit as Plymouth has many sites of historic interest. The gift shop has some very tasteful items not found in in the usual gift shops, making it the ideal place to purchase a special present. The staff are very helpful and take a real pride in their merchandise.

The "Oldest House in Plymouth". Does that make it the oldest house in the U.S.? Either way, if you go to Plymouth and don't check this out, you will always wish you did. It is worth the stop, for sure.

Nice little gift shop with lots of pretty items, nice proprietors and elegantly wrapped gifts. I needed something for a very special occasion. The person won't be disappointed by the presentation or the gift for sure!!!

I have been going here for years with my mom and sister. They have some of the best jewelry and other items. For Christmas or birthdays I always stop by to do some of my shopping and they always have new items. You can tell they take pride in their items and are always very friendly and helpful. Just watch your head if you're tall!!

Some of the most unique jewelry and gifts can be found in this "museum"( Richard Sparrow House). This small house contains every type of art work imaginable. Wall art, cubbard art, dining room art, body art. You will indulge in one form or another.
