the sights and sounds from the stage are fantastic. They have many top entertainers that come to Mansfield. You don't have to travel great distances for quality entertainment. Easy access from the Boston, Worcester, and Providence areas. Come and enjoy yourself at Comcast Center.

I went recently for a Motley Crue concert in August. I am from the area and recently moved out of state. I have to say the Crue put on a great show! However, my experience with the Xfinity Center staff was another story. Parking was not an issue, we chose to park across the street to tailgate a bit. It was a long walk but better than sitting in the traffic on the way out. Well where I start. I was refused alcohol due to my out of state license with the "dup" under the license number. Okay, I can see if I was kid trying to pass as 21, let's just say add another 20+ years and that's my true age and they really refused to sell me a $10 beer! Then I was stalked throughout the night like a juvenile delinquent. I guess the security staff thought I would try at another stand, which I did once (he he) but only once. Oh did I mention, I was able to buy a beer when I first entered the venue, I was refused the 2nd when I went to a different stand. And did I also mention, this is the same license that allowed me to board a plane and buy beer at Fenway Park a day earlier. This was just the beginning of our nightmare experience. My friend could not find her wallet so she and another friend went looking to see if she dropped it on the way in. She asked security if she could check the parking lot and they refused her re-entry. I'm not sure about you but I think finding my wallet would be important. But Xfinity Center staff didn't think so, so not only did both of my friends miss the entire show, Xfinity Center is refusing to compensate us for our loss or take any ownership in our experience. The only outlet I have is to find any review site I can to expose this unprofessional, inconsiderate and ridiculous behavior on behalf of the Xfinity Security Staff and rules.

This venue is great. It's quite large and well kept. Lines for the bathroom were not too long, and there was an abundance of food options. One aspect I enjoyed was that they offered free sodas all evening long to DD's. This is a great way to promote safe practices. The only downfall is the parking. We paid $40 for premium parking and had no problems. We drove right out. I would highly recommend this, because if you use the free parking, you could be waiting for hours. It is well worth it if you have a long drive home and don't feel like waiting forever.

Ive been to the Xfinity Theater a few times in Hartford, and enjoyed my time, so decided to give this place a try. This may be the worst venue in New England. They do offer free parking, but it congested and quite a walk to the venue. The bathrooms are small, and the place is so confusing to find anything. I saw drake vs lil wayne here and the sound was decent, it seemed like the speakers were at 100, you could barely hear in the back sections. Unlike the venue in Hartford the lawn area is super small and they have open air seats instead. Being a reviewer, i read the traffic is terrible here so we knew the setlist and left before it ended, but i could easy tell how it gets backed up for hours. There is much better options for concerts in New England, take your cash elsewhere.

this place is so big! Parking lots were huge and separated...we didn't even know where to walk when we were heading into the concert. Luckily we got to park near the road, so it took us about a half hour to get out afterwards. If we weren't so close, I am sure it would take over an hour. They definitely need to do something about that.Drinks were a little bit more expensive than other venues, but I was impressed that there wasn't a lot of lines. There are plenty of places inside to get drinks and food. Bathroom had no line surprisingly. Our seats were in section 6 and we had a great view. THere are huge poles that are in the further sections so be careful when selecting seats up there because your view could be obstructed. All in all it is a great venue and we will definitely be going back!

I went to see the Motley Crue show here last night. Alice Cooper was their opening act, and both performances were great. Both bands put on a great show and made it a fun experience. However, with that being said, my other experiences within the venue were nothing to write home about. I did pay the $40 to park at the Infinity Parking Lot (the one just before you enter the free parking lots at the center) and getting in and out there was a breeze. From there when I got to the entrance line at the venue I was told I couldn't bring in my Nikon D3100 because the Xfinity Center does not allow "professional cameras." I do think this policy is a bit ridiculous because most all fans are simply trying to capture the memories of the performance in as clear a way as possible. We're not all trying to sell bootleg concert photos. It saddened me to see all the smartphones raised to try and take the least blurry image of the show.Secondly-and I will say I don't know if this one falls on the venue or the sound crew for the bands-but each performance was WAY TOO LOUD. Forget "turn it up to 11." All the instruments for each band were turned up to 1,000 and the vocals were barely audible for each performer. The volume was so loud during the opening act before Alice and the Crue that small parts of the ceiling were actually falling to the ground. That was reassuring! I have been to other rock concerts before that weren't nearly this poorly produced in terms of sound quality. Long story short, BRING EARPLUGS!Lastly-and this one is mainly luck of the draw-the other concert goers around me made it a rough trip. The man standing right next to me probably went through an entire pack of Marlboro's and the people behind me smoked so many joints that I reeked of their fumes as well by the end of the night. That combination led to me having the worst migraine I've had in over a decade mixed with some rough nausea that made me stop at a gas station on the way home to grab a drink and some Aspirin to try and chill out before attempting the rest of the drive back to New Hampshire.Speaking of the Granite State, I would at this moment thusly highly recommend the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion over the Xfinity Center as a better outdoor venue. I went there with my wife for a Keith Urban concert. We were standing in the pit some 10 ft from the stage and my wife didn't even need earplugs because their sound people knew what there were doing. Plus, this venue is in the Lakes Region, so you can enjoy views of Lake Winnipesaukee of the mountains on your way in.In closing, I will most likely never return to the Xfinity Center for another concert.

We went to see Alice Cooper and Motley Crue in August. We arrived about an hour and a half before the gates opened. Although we were directed to a place to park there are so many different lots and the rows are not marked so getting back to your car can be a bit confusing. When exiting, it isn't clearly marked either but we left early to avoid the rush so it wasn't that bad. The food and drinks inside are priced similar to most concert venues, no surprises there. Although we did see a good number of security guards or police there did seem to be lots and lots of people smoking pot. The place was more crowded than I have ever seen for a show and the crowd seemed to be orderly for the most part. The hike up to the lawn seats could be a bit much for some people, lots of stairs and steep hill. There are TVs at the top of the seated area so that you can see the stage if you're on the lawn but they aren't very big. You don't have a choice as to which venue you go to if you really want to see a show but Xfinity isn't my favorite place to go.

Went to a concert here and did not pay the $40 for premiere parking. Just parked in the regular park of the lot. At the end of the show when we went to leave the staff had all 4 lanes leaving the lot ONLY for the premiere parking cars. I sat in line waiting to even move for 1 hour and 15 minutes. What a joke.I enjoyed the show but I will NEVER return to this concert venue again!

I saw Arcade Fire and Dan Deacon on Tuesday. It was a pretty packed show and I was worried about leaving after. I could NOT believe how efficiently we left the parking lot. There were human arrows everywhere and it was seriously organized just so perfectly. I would definitely go back to this venue for a concert

It was set up nicely for our event, and the food was pretty good for this type of venue, but was extremely expensive. Parking was close and free. Took almost an hour and a half to get out of the parking lot.

I still call this place Great Woods. We took a couple of teens to see a hip hop show (Wiz Khalifa). First time to see a show there in years. We had lawn seats. sound quality was fine. Concessions are, predictably, expensive and short on portion size, at least for food. I haven't smoked a joint in decades, so almost didn't recognize the scent of the weed being sparked up all around us. "Security" didn't seem to care about it. Getting out afterward, always an adventure, was easier this time. Overall, it was fine.

Went to Jimmy Buffett, and of course the tail gate party was amazing!! Then for the concert, Jimmy was great as expected, I was in section 7 and had great seats. The concert goers were a lot of fun.Now for the bad. The drink and food prices...INSANE! plus we were told to take our passport to verify id. Which is a dumb rule if I must say so. However I went, presented my passport and they said it didn't have a stamp on it, so they would not accept it. I just had my passport done the week before and they do not stamp passports anymore!! So I forced them to see my NS licence and they gave me my arm and leg beer... ridiculous.

Seriously. I am 35 and had my driving license. Went to get a beer with said ID and was promptly told that the 'venue policy' was to only accept Massachusetts state licenses. Anyone else needed a passport, and no my paper copy wasn't good enough as it hadn't been stamped by US border officials. Honestly?! How many 15 year old illegal immigrants do you know who'd want to by a ten dollar bottle of beer? And who in their right mind would take a passport to a concert? wanting to could understand if I'd have had no ID but this is something that people need to know. And not in 4 point type on page 3, line 34 of the Ts and Cs of the ticketmaster website! The fact that prepubescent looking teenagers were all clearly stoned or that there were people who clearly couldn't handle their booze stumbling all over the place didn't seem to worry the staff at all. Very very disappointed! Customer service also awful and prices exorbitant! The gig was great, but being made to feel like a guilty underage drunkard was just insulting.

we had a great time at the concert...jimmy is always fun to go see...he has gotten older so it wasnt the usual circus its been in the past...but his music will always stand and endure the test of time... parking is a issue...drink prices are outrageous...but the venue itself is amazing... had a great time...would go again...
