Came here after dinner on Saturday night. 2 Jazz bands performed. The drinks are great with lots of specialty drinks.and the bands are fantastic with no cover charge! Average age appeared to be in their 40s. The bar has great ambience.

I Like the room, I like the music...the Drinks, however, are overpriced. I know Lowell has a bit of a reputation and you may need ways to keep the riff raff out and indeed pricing them out is one way to do it...

Unless you want to head towards Cambridge or Boston, this is one of the best places to hear great live blues, jazz, funk, etc. James Montgomery, Jamie Lynn Hart, Diane Blue, Chris Fitz, The Love Dogs, Evan Goodrow...no cover charge typically, although did pay to see James.Friendly, intimate, clean, and great mixed drinks by Courtney. If you want food go next door to the Blue Taleh, delicious.Only complaint - no real food or munchies to speak of (just small pizza). Add chips/salsa, cheese/crackers or even peanuts please :) oh and never park in a tow away zone, they WILL tow!
