bass pro shops

First time at a Bass Pro Shops...now I know why women just drop their husbans off here...and head to the outlets! So much to see - and even a restaurant (I had a great Cobb Salad there). Well Done!

The store is an especially good place to shop at Christmas time -- nicely decorated, spacious inside, plenty of free parking, can handle the big crowds. And there are interesting ideas for gifts for all -- outdoor clothing, sweaters and sweatshirts, cook items for dogs, sporting goods, you name it. The rest of the year we go only when we are seeking something in particular, such as dog items or wild game cameras. Try it -- you'll like it.

Today 01/20/2015 went to Bass Pro in Foxboro. I have been to that store several times and bought merchandise, I find they have a large selection and merchandise is top quality. The physical store is amazing.BUTToday I went to purchase a gun, I had the money, proper ID and knew exactly what I wanted. Went to the gun counter, only customer there, there were 2 clerks and one other just talking. walked up and down length of counter several times found the gun I wanted in the rack. Still being ignored I went up to where they were and asked: 'Are you guys selling guns today or talking?' The clerk Andy responded, I told him exactly what I wanted to buy. He replied we don't have any. I said you do there is one down there in the rack. He said show me. I replied What don't you think I know what I'm talking about. He reply was "I don't have to sell you a gun" And something about me being a smart guy. At that point I realized dealing with Andy was going no where, I left and found the store manager and reported how I was treated by Andy. I then left the store never purchasing a single item.It has been many years since I have been treated in a store with such disrespect. I will not be going back to the Foxboro store any time soon. Found Dick's Sporting Goods has same gun at same price.....sorry Andy you blew that sale.

Really cool store! They have a really cool atmosphere between the log cabin feel and the awesome woodsy dioramas. They have a really cool fish tank with lots of fish also. They also have a nice cafe. They have a HUGE selection of fishing and hunting gear. At least 200 different kinds of fishing poles and maybe 1,000s of lures and anything else you might want. Awesome place to go!

This place has everything. If you like to fish, hunt, boat or even if you just like the outdoors this place is for you. The prices aren't to bad either. They also have a lot of activities for families as well. They have an amazing giant aquarium with many different species of fish from the area as well as a little wetland area with waterfalls, trout, and turtle (free). They have a nice restaurant in the back. A fun shooting game with moving animals and cool special effects. They also have a nice little lake in the back with nature trails around it. They are always having special events and games (free) in the shop which are a lot of fun. Just walking around the store is fun. This is the best store ever.

This was our 1st time in a Bass Pro shop,regardless if you hunt,fish,camp, do outdoor activities or just want something to get by for a few days for power outages so on,this is a great place.It's got it all ,almost like a mini museum it's decored with stuffed animals,live aquarium,waterfall,kids items,great shopping place for the whole family,the staff was very friendly and helpfull.They are opening one where we live soon ,can't wait,hopefully it will be as nice.

Stopped in to see what this place was all about! When we entered the store we felt like we were in one of the Disney World Resort Lodges. This place is huge and epic. We came here on a very cold new england day and the huge fireplace right as you enter the store really made us feel cozy. Walking throughout the store you can hear/see water rushing from the man made creek right in the middle of the fishing department (stocked with huge trout-fish) and a great smell of cedar from the trees growing within the store. We were both overwhelmed with the options on what we wanted to do and look at first. clothing, guns, furniture, fishing poles, kayaks, you name it they have it all. There's plenty of things to do here for men and women. You can definitely spend hours in here if you've never been. Always found the staff helpful and friendly. Cool place.

Being an avid sportsman I always like this bar/restaurant. The food is good albeit a bit over priced for the portions. $8 for a hot dog isn't what I call a 'family' friendly restaurant. But despite that their food and service were still good.

We really liked this monster outdoor shop. All you can imagine for outdoor activities is there. Don't go there to have bargains but to buy and look everything is available on the market for fishing, hunting, ATV, boats, etc...

Bass Pro Shops is a destination store for anyone, outdoorsman or child. There is something for everyone. It is the perfect place to spend a rainy afternoon wishing you could be out in the boonies enjoying the outdoors. Their staff are knowledgeable and eager to show off the store. A not to miss store if you are within 25 miles of one.Kids will love the fish tank and gun ranges along with all the stuff hanging from the ceiling. Don't miss the cranberry bog during harvest season. It is fun and very educational.

This is one store my husband and I can both enjoy. There's a nice selection of clothing and downstairs there's some interesting cooking items. For those with children, they offer distractions that make a shopping trip less painful.

The Bass Pro Shop is Foxboro is a great place to visit, even if you are not an avid outdoors person. It is an extremely clean store, has tons of friendly staff and is just a generally all around fun place to visit. If you like a nice nature walk try out there cranberry bog nature walk in back of the store.

This was my first time in a Bass Pro Shop and it exceeded my expectations. This shop is beautiful and there is something interesting for everyone here. The huge fish tank was awesome with all the large turtles too. There are many unique toys here that I've never seen anywhere else before. There's also a lot of foods sold here that I haven't seen in over 25 years and didn't even know they were still made!I didn't have much time to see everything because I had dinner rerservations but I'm going to visit their new location in Hookset NH when I have more time.

Our grand-daughter loves adventures so we took her to Bass Pro. She loves the fish tank and will sit and talk to the fish, she's 3. It was Christmas time and Santa was there but the next ticket to see him was at 3pm, it was 11:30 at the time. We were leaving around noon and asked the girl if we could have a ticket for later in day and she said someone had just turned in one for 1:30 so we took it. Had lunch in the store and went and saw Santa, who was excellent, he asked all the right questions and we came out with a great picture. The people who work here are really great, they always make you feel welcomed, even if you don't buy anything
