Lot's of history up on the 2nd floor. View was really great and learned all about Hot Springs to boot! Gift shop was just ok, but who needs a bunch of junk anyway. Elevator to the top two viewing decks so you don't have to worry about being out of shape to enjoy this one.

They shut down before closing time so they can run their clients out and lock up on time. Go early or don't go

Pick a clear day and take the elevator to the top of the tower. There are two levels for viewing--one enclosed and the other open air. You will have a 360 degree view of Hot Springs and the adjacent areas. The enclosed level also has lots of information about the history of Hot Springs. It is a good way to orient yourself to the city as when you are in the valley, the mountains envelop the city and restrict the view.

We love coming up here. You can see the whole city and read up on the history and myths of hot springs. We took some great pics with snow still on the mountains

Took the elevator up and enjoyed the 360 view of the area. Well worth the few dollars to take the elevator.

Beautiful view of the city. People there were friendly and knowledgeable. Plenty of parking and having an elevator was a plus. Plan on spending at least an hour.

We waited till the clouds lifted to go up and we were glad we did. Awesome view of the city, mountains, and lakes. So glad we decided to make the trip up the mountain.

There is what seems like endless information posted for reading, historic items to look at, and even a short video playing.

Driving up to the Tower was a great experience and when we arrived we were greeted by pleasant, professional and knowledgeable employees. There are two floors and the views are spectacular! Floor three is the outside deck and views up close and personal with the wind whipping around but it also had an observation deck if it had been raining. Then, the displays on floor two left out very little history of the area and after seeing this site our overview of the park was enhanced. Not to mention the views which seemed to go on forever. It should not be missed and the elevator ride - with an open view is quite an attraction in and of itself. You will enjoy the visit. Plus along the road are places to stop and enjoy a picnic, walk or just view.

I took a panoramic photo, which as i look back, seems so inadequate. You must see it from on top to see the mountains and sprawl of the towns around the national park. Wow!

Interesting history of Hot Springs all the way around the second level, interesting short documentary on Bill Clinton and a wide range of memorabilia of Hot Springs. And the views are superb. The 3rd level was outside and on the side that wasn't windy really pleasant

This over view (especially, fall season) of Hot springs is well worth the drive up the mountain. There are indoor & outdoor viewing platforms, however,on the day we went the out door was closed due the the massive amount of bees. Yes, bees.Small gift shop for those who care

We loved going up the elevator to the top. Younger folks walked the stairs. Staff were friendly and informative. The switch back road to get up to it is fun. A wonderful 10 mile loop called Sunset Trail is also up on top.

Fantastic view and a great display of all things great about Hot Springs and the state park. Not expensive.

So I like to go up on high towers to see the view (we've been to Willis Tower, Chicago; Seattle space needle, and others) This one did not disappoint. The price was 7 each, but the lady at the visitor's center gave us a coupon for a dollar each off. I think it was worth it, but I probably wouldn't do it again.
