This place was thoroughly enjoyed by me, my wife and my 3 year old daughter. The couple that ran it Cheryl and Virgil were very nice people and very helpful. As they say they don't meet customers they make new friends.

I will say that the people are very friendly, as far as crystals, I wouldn't call it a mine, you are taken out to an area, and told to stay in the boundaries and not dig deeper than one foot. It is on top of a hill and about all you can do is walk around and hope to find something laying there, If I wanted to pay 40$ (my wife and I), to collect quartz, I could do that most anywhere. Needless to say, we have been to most of the mines in the area and this was the one we wouldn't return to(because you aren't at a mine or even have access to tailings).
