If you are a biker and love to be challenged and are looking for that woodsy, streams and fun ride, then you will love the Slaugher Pen trail! Well planned, well maintained and a good challenge! Just keep you bike upright and look out for others! Thank you NW Arkansas and those who donated so much to make this real!

A key feature of north Bentonville, we have 31 miles of paved trails for walking, trails for hiking, and our mountain bike trail ranges from starter to expert. People come from miles around to experience the fun and the beauty. Just watch out for bikers on the paved trails...some don't watch for pedestrians very well...

Call Phat Tire Bike Shop at 479-715-6170 to reserve and rent a bike. You can ride from the shop to the trails and either stay on paved trails around Crystal Bridges or explore the singletrack of Slaughter Pen Mountain Bike Trail System. Super fun and easy. Don't come to Bentonville and miss this experience with family or friends.

This park has it all, some really tough trails, some easier ones and a BMX area. I live near here and ride all the time, my son and his friends spent half the summer riding the trails. Something for everyone.

Located in north Bentonville, almost to Bella Vista, this is a great natural walking trail that gets lots of use by the locals. Adjacent to the dog bark, it has lots of families, dogs, runners and bikers.

The trails are easily accessible to downtown. I rented a bike at Phat Tire and was doing some of the best mountain biking of my life within 10 minutes.

There are not very many mtn bike trails that are as conveniently located as Slaughter Pen! You can stay the night in Downtown Bentonville, rent a bike on the square, and ride the trails starting in town! Need a lunch break? Just ride back to the square for sandwich or coffee. Awesome bike friendly town with even better trails. Fast, flowy, and beautiful!

You can spend all day on the trails here and ride from downtown or your hotel. The local bike shop (Phat Tire) rents bikes for around $50 a day. Not only is something you don't want to miss -- it's worth the trip! Finish up the day's riding with a bucket of beer at the Flying Fish on the square. They don't mind ride shorts and sweaty jerseys!

Some of the best riding I have done in Arkansas is at Slaughter Pen. You can spend almost a full day of riding all the trails. Great fun for all levels of riders.

Slaughter Pen has beautiful trails that are located in Bentonville, AR. There was something for everyone to ride from easy to hard. Flowy singletrack and a few challenging hills. There are technical sections and freeride park for jumps and stunts. Easy to get to and lots to see and do around Bentonville. Be sure and check out Blowing Springs and Hobbs State park if you can. The trails are great there too!
