Too many tasty treats to choose from! I settled on the Cajun Peanuts and White Chocolate Covered Pecans. Amazing. Cute, old-time shop.

Love this place, the employees and of course the candy and nuts. The 100 year old peanut roaster turns out deliciousness and the narrow, old fashioned store takes you back to the 40s/50s. What's not to love about a candy and nut shop!?! Staff is enthisiatic, helpful and friendly so if you're in the downtown Mobile area treat yourself and drop in. You won't regret it!

We had so much fun buying cashews here last time and feeding the squirrels that we had to do it again! This time we bought peanuts for them and got the chocolate covered cashews for ourselves. Feeding the squirrels in nearby beinville park is fun for all ages. They are fun to watch and will eat right from your hand. The candy store is delightful. Check out the crescent theatre right across the street too!

I was in town for business and thought local nuts would be a great thing to bring home to my husband. I was given samples of nuts to try before purchasing. The owner was very friendly and happy to chat about the shop. The 100 year old peanut roaster was in full action, and probably is most times of the day. I would go back to this shop if I found myself in Mobile again.

This is a great little store---does lots of business..people stopping in front constantly, and going in to buy those incredible roasted peanuts! Oh how we wish we had bought more. We went as tourists to see the downtown area, and visit some shops. When we stopped in, the sweet people showed us the hundred year old roaster and told us about feeding the squirrels at Bienville Square, less than a five minute walk away. We also bought other nuts, and the quality at this store is just wonderful. It is a great place to take children to see the peanuts being roasted. Children are bombarded with so much technology now, and this is truly stepping back in time, and was one of the best parts of our trip. We would also like to say that Alabama is one of the cleanest, friendliest states that we have had the pleasure of visiting. We found ourselves saying that we could truly live here---really great people.

For many years my family and I have visited A&M Peanut Store for the absolute best roasted peanuts, popcorn and candies. Our children absolutely love to pick up a bag of roasted peanuts and walk over to Bienville Square to feed peanuts to the squirrels. The squirrels will literally take the peanuts out of your fingers as they are so used to people feeding them. It is a wonderful tradition for our family and hopefully others will experience the joy of it as well!

We smelled the peanuts roasting in this little shop and was glad we stopped in. Purchased cashews and ended up feeding two dozen squirrels in the park nearby. Was lots of fun, children would like. Lots of goodies here, worth stopping by.
