Scattered over a large area are seven different trails in the Orange Beach area. There are maps available at the trail heads to show you the length of the trail. Trails are marked at quarter mile intervals, so you know exactly how far you have walked! They are asphalt covered do divided and you keep to the right always. At the trail head there are pics of the different animals you may encounter while walking in that particular area. There are benches, restrooms etc along the trail. Even if it is a cooler day you can still find a sheltered trail and walk quite comfortably. My second favorite spot after the beach.

My wife and me have walked 3 of the trails. The trails are blacktop paved and wide enough for walkers and bikers. There are mile markers every quarter mile. Benches along the way are available for resting or to watching the world go by. We even saw an armadillo.

Miles of paved trails for walkers, hikers and cyclists. Tucked into a natural area across the highway from the beaches. Lots of benches with nice views and in convenient areas to take a rest. Trails go through a busy campground and also in secluded areas. Good trail signage so you don't get lost. Lots of people using the trails--very popular with campers and the locals! Signs up stating alligator habitat, but we only saw an armadillo!

Its great if you enjoy nature and walking. Two things I greatly enjoy. You wouldnt think youd find a trail down at the beach! we loved it!

We walk or bike ride the trails weekly. Just love them. My dog loves it too! Great exercise, peaceful, friendly walkers. We are always trying to see any wildlife.

We only had time for the shorter trails and walked two of them. Nothing more than a walk on a service road with lots of bicycles and no wildlife to be seen.

Quiet, peaceful, safe. Bring the insect repellant, though, you ARE in the woods! Quarter mile markers, paved trail, benches, porch swings at nice intervals for a rest or observing wild life in the area. Restrooms and a water fountain about 1.5 miles down the trail.

Found these trails a great place to take the family for a walk with while on vacation. Even though we didn't do all of the trails, we did a lot of miles and really enjoyed it. Did not see any of the snakes, but saw a lot of beautiful birds and a baby alligator. Cool to show the kids the wild animals in the wild.

Had a difficult time finding the trail from our condo as is is not clearly marked from the highway. It is called , nature trail. Once you find it, it is a wonderful walk. Thoroughly enjoyed it. There are many trails but we only walked one of them and then didn't fully complete it and we ended up walking 4 miles. Trail is black-topped and a very easy walk.

We rode this trail last year and decided to do it again this year. We rented bikes from Infinity Bikes and rode a short distance along a path that bordered the street to get into the park. We rode a new leg of the trail called Twin Bridges this year which looked like it had recently been paved. The weather was great and saw a good sized turtle making his way across the trail. Plenty of benches along the trail to stop and rest or just enjoy the nature surrounding you.

Whether biking or walking, this is a wonderful, well maintained, ever improving, trail. We are amateur bikers and are pleased with the 10 MPH limit. No training for races on this trail. Keep your eyes open for all kinds of wildlife!

Very scenic, safe and flat place to run, walk or bike. Clean water fountains and bathrooms are available. Never too crowded to get a good running or biking pace going.

Me and my wife love to bike on the back country trail. We have seen lots of wildlife on our many trips through the state park. You can enter the trail at different points in Orange Beach and Gulf Shores to experience different terrain and sights. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.
