This was our second visit to see the alligators. Our first visit was 4 years ago. This visit was just as fun as the 1st visit. They have done a lot of updating and it looks great! The sandbox added fun for the little ones. We held a baby gator this time and that made for great memories. The staff is very friendly. Can't wait to return in the future! Great place!

Alligator Alley is a wonderful attraction. The grounds are very well maintained, not tourist trappy and the people friendly. The 200 large gators are totally in natural habitat along a creek and in a large swamp which is interwoven with a safe, amazing boardwalk. . Young gators are n clean areas. The owner and people working there are very polite and informative. If you are anywhere in southern Alabama, you must put this on your list of sights.

We travel to Gulf Shores, Alabama often and this is always a stop that we make on the way home. The staff is so friendly and the entire farm is a wonderful experience.

For years I have driven past the sign pointing to Alligator Alley. In Summerdale Alabama. Today we decided to visit it... It's easy to find and you will be amazed. I guarantee your kids will love this place too. The cost is $10. per adult and only $8.00 for senior's , less for children but I am sorry I didn't take notice of the cost for kids. wear comfortable shoes and sun screen in the hot summer days, right now the weather is perfect for a nice stroll through the park and the swamp area which is well protected from the Alligators. It was very interesting to see a real swamp area close up, and also notice the Alligators roaming freely within the swamp area. you can even buy food to feed them along the way. and you might just get to hold one, like I did.The River area is lined with massive Alligators on warm sunny days, and during the summer you can see the Alligator at feeding times, which are posted on their web site... This is a VERY interesting attraction in Summerdale. Don't forget to take your Camera. There are over 400 Alligators at Alligator Alley

Some of Alligator Alley was a hit with us and some parts missed the mark. Much of the farm was just pools with graduated sizes of alligators crowded in together. Not much to see or do with those. However, the feeding of the bigger pond gators was presented well with a good narrator who gave glimpses into the individual gators' personalities and lives. My favorite part, though, was actually getting to hold a small (2 foot) alligator whose mouth was taped for visitor safety and learn about him from a very informative employee. She pointed out unique characteristics of the gator's body and helped me pose with him in my arms. The gift shop is a total bust. I was hoping to buy some books about alligators for a grandson and a gator plush animal for a granddaughter and struck out completely.

This was a better way to spend an afternoon than we thought it might be. We really enjoyed all the time we spent at this location. It is an easy walk amongst the alligators. From the beginning walking through the building that housed the new born alligators, my family was intrigued. They had not seen alligators close up before. This place allowed for you to actually hold them. We had several opportunities to hold small and mid sized alligators. Just being able to touch the skin was a treat. The stroll through the swamp area was a nice treat as well to be able to see these ancient looking creatures in their habitat. The show was intriguing. We sat and watched the alligators be fed. It was a cool afternoon so the alligators were not super active. But there were a few takers for a free and easy meal. Some of these creatures are mammoth. We highly recommend you spend a few hours learning about the alligator and seeing them up close. This is a great way to do that!

While visiting Orange Beach, we decided to check out Alligator Alley. It was such a neat experience. We are adults, but really had a great time exploring the alligator farm. We were able to see the alligator feeding and then walked along the swamp area observing the alligators. They had baby alligators ranging from 1 years old to 4 years old in pens that you are able to watch them. Then they have about 205 alligators out and about in the swamp area. You can walk along a boardwalk and see them. We also got to hold a baby alligator. You can also buy alligator food and throw it in the swamp and watch them eat. I imagine this would be a great place to take children because they would have a blast. If near the area, check it out!

It was a nice place to spend some family time. We took a nice slow paced walk thru the exhibits and had a great time. We arrived when it first opened so no big crowds to deal with. Got to hold a baby gator and see the famous "captain crunch". The main feeding was also interesting and it was fun to feed the Gators ourselves from the bridge. It didn't take long to go thru the exhibit but definetly worth the stop.

a quick little experience that was neat. It doesn't take a long time to visit. We were actually stuck behind a group of school students so we weren't really sure if this was a self guided tour of the alligators or you walked with a guide. We just followed the children and listened in. Was neat to hold a baby alligator (3 years old) Paid $4 to buy alligator food in a cup - large pellets - see pics If you threw it down and it hit the water nearby an alligator mouth it would chomp. Around this time of year the alligators were slowing down so they were not as active. The gnats were terrible though. We stayed for the 11:00 feeding.

This was definitely worth the time and price to visit. The July heat was the only drawback to our visit--sweltering! The alligators were amazing to watch, though; from babies to full-grown in a natural habitat setting. Much better than a zoo. We were too hot to stay for the feedings. We also got to hold a smaller alligator to take photos with our own cameras. Good time for our family!

The alligators were amazing and we were able to feed them! We even got to hold a small gator and have our picture taken with it. I would go in the morning when it is cooler.

This place is nice! Lots of gators, several pens of gators from tiny to huge! Good feeding show, nice trail through the swamp. We really enjoyed this place.

So great! I got to hold a gator. It is very safe. You can throw food to the gators. We were staying at Orange Beach and it was worth the drive. about 1/2 hour.

This is just a wonderful place to come. The keepers teach you about the gators, but also give you respect for these creatures. You can hold a baby gator, you can watch feedings, and you can throw food to the bigger gators! Our daughter loves going here! Make sure that you grab a drink in the gift shop before you head out in the park because it is usually very hot! There are gators of all sizes all over the park and a wonderful bridge where you walk over the swamp and see the gators in their natural habitat. A wonderful, educational place for people of all ages!
