The title says it all. The Poarch Creek Indians do not care about fairness, regulations or anything else except for making money and they do that really well.

Ten of my co-workers and I made a pac that we would begin going gambling at least once a month to Windcreek Casino. We have visited the casino on three occasions and none of us won anything!! How can this be? We lost a total of $2000 on one trip alone! They need to loosen their slots FOR SURE!! We all decided to by-pass them last week and we did MUCH better in Biloxi! Another group of friends fro Auburn are planning to attend the week of 3/21. We have convinced them NOT to go! No more Windcreek gambling for us or ANYONE we advise!

I went last weekend and I had to walk around a few times before I could find and open machine. They need to make it bigger and offer more quarters and dollar machines.

Staff was great You ordered your drinks from the slot machine. The beer selection was awful. They didn't have Michelob that was unbelievable.

We were on our way to Biloxi to hit all the casinos and stopped at Atmore. This was our second visit here. The place still looks new and the Buffet is a great place to eat along the way. I didn't do well with the slots this time but still had a good time.

This is just for fun. If you win you are the luckiest person in the world. You have a better chance of winning in Mississippi!

This was our first trip to the casino and probably our last. Parking wasn't bad but we were there in the middle of the day on a Wednesday. The first thing that hits you is the overwhelming cigarette smoke smell. They really need to do something about their ventilation system. The first thing we always do is get a players card and the ladies issuing the cards were very polite. They informed us all about PIN numbers etc which was all pretty standard. One thing that was a little different was the guarantee of getting all your losses back in free play on your second visit up to $1000. My wife and I both had one hundred dollars to spend on gambling so we started out on equal footing. We played for a while and won and lost staying about even. We decided to have the buffet which is always our favorite in the Mississippi and Louisiana casinos. Here it was disappointing to say the least. First of all, there are no freebies or discounts on the buffet for points. The food had been on the line way to long. What they did have that had some semblance of being fresh was very bland. The service was very good. I guess since there was only about 8 people dining in the entire buffet I should have taken the hint. Even this hadn't completely killed our hope of a good time. We returned to the gaming floor and over the next hour or so managed to lose our two hundred dollars. We decided to play while longer and each took another $50 all along in the back of our mind the offer of getting our money back in free play on our next visit. Two hours later we were out of money and decided to go home. Several times during our playing time we would cash in tickets which we played back. We left down $300; no winnings plus the cost of our buffet. Our expectation of our losses being returned in free play showed up today in the mail. I got $175 and my wife got $25!!! She played just as much as I did. DON'T BELIEVE YOU WILL GET BACK YOUR LOSSES IN FREE PLAY ON YOUR NEXT VISIT, AS THEY TELL YOU!!!! IT WON'T HAPPEN. RIP OFF.

Enjoyed our visit. Wish I had stopped while I was ahead!! Very nice place. Liked the fact that we could park our camper in a designated lot and located close to an entrance

Me and some friends went, the machine was tight and the staff attitude was terrible. No competition mean they can set there machine like they want it.Can't enjoy yourself, because it takes quick.

Stopped at Wind Creek Casino on our way to Gulf Shores. A nice variety of slot and other electrical gaming machines. The facilities were clean and in nice shape. I only wish they had some table games. I must admit I left with more money than when I came.

I have visited this casino many times and I have usually enjoyed myself. I don't know if it was a new policy or if I didn't notice before but they do not allow you to use free play on the weekends. I have never heard of such and I go to other casinos fairly often. I received a free room offer but of course two weeks before they were "sold out" of the comp rooms. I usually hear their jackpot theme often but lately that song hardly plays. Not sure why it seems different but it does. We ate in the grill and it is usually pretty good food and did not disappoint this trip. Fire steakhouse doesn't open until dinner and quite frankly we did not want to stay around this time. Not just that we were not winning (I expect that) but no one was. Maybe I will give it a rest for awhile and have a better trip next time. Maybe just an off day but will not be going on the weekend when I have free play....lesson learned. lol

Wind Creek Casino is a really very beautiful casino inside - in design and colors. Very clean and modern too, and the staff very friendly and helpful. Nice gift store too. They also have a fabulous way to order free drinks that we had never encountered. As long as you are playing a certain amount which is not high (slot machine keeps up with it), you can receive free drinks by pressing a button on the slot machine. It will bring up a drink menu and also pictures of your bar tender and server. you select your drink and the order goes directly to the bar and in less than 5 minutes your drink is delivered. This was the fastest drink delivery I had ever had in any casino - anywhere. Plus the drink was very good! better than what you get for free in most casinos! However, this casino, because of state laws, is required to have the slot machines play off of a "bingo" process. Although you are pressing the slot machine button and it is looking like it is going thru the motions of normal slot machines, rolling around with colorful games or symbols, it is really only for looks. The game of chance is based on a small box in the corner that looks like a bingo card with numbers. I asked a staff member what this box was, as I had no idea, and they explained this to me about the bingo. Each time you "play that slot machine", if you don-t like the results, you can touch that little bingo card once or as many times as you like to change the numbers on the bingo card. I was told that all of the Indian Casinos are run like this - at least in Alabama, as they can only use a bingo type of gambling. Interesting, huh? But there are no signs or explanations to advise you of this when you first walk in - and no explanation when you first get a Players Club card. Even a handout from the Players Club would have been helpful about the way this works as bingo and so to introduce the way to get the free drinks. so now you know - pass it on. Also, my honey was not pleased with the assortment of digital poker machines. That is all he plays. They only have digital poker machines that make you play multiple hands at one time. Most of the casinos offer these games, but it is not the only thing offered. He did not like at all that he could not play one hand at a time and was very unhappy with this. I actually a little $ on the slots I played "bingo" on - ha - not sure how?? Some really good local southern restaurants nearby - we loved the Dixie Catfish and David's Catfish Cabin. The fresh water catfish was delicious at both places, but they both serve lots of other things too - good southern cooking. Look up on internet, ask a local or staff at the Casino for what's good and directions. People are friendly. Plenty of various price motels and hotels or you can stay in the beautiful casino hotel. Just after Christmas, while we were there - the casino hotel rooms were going for $250 a night. We chose to stay in a little very inexpensive older place called the Muskogee Inn about 2 min from the Casino. It is very clean and comfortable, but you also get what you pay for as far as looks - lol - looks like it is from the 80s in rooms - but was what we were looking for that time. But there are plenty of other places to stay with a variety of rates - any motel/hotel star rating you are looking for.. So it was a fun adventure to try for a couple days on our way to another state.

If you are interested in gambling then stay far away from this property! It may be advertised as a casino implying you have a chance of winning but in reality you quickly realize you have no opportunity to do so. Both myself and my Father live close enough that we can visit this casino at least once a week. Over the last year, we each have had the misfortune of contributing thousands of dollars to these thieves. On our last trip, we were there for a little over an hour before we had to leave with pockets empty having spent about $600. Other than the casino, there is little else to do as this facility sprung up from farmland in the middle of nowhere. For gambling, a visit to the Mississippi Gulf Coast may not be a sure bet but your odds of losing will not come close to what you will experience at Wind Creek Atmore.

For a casino in a small town, I felt like I was in Vegas or Biloxi when gambling here. I didn't win anything, but had a good time. The drink ordering system is great- you just punch in your order on the machine you are playing and a waitress appears with your order. No more waiting forever to find a cocktail lady! The casino allows smoking but it wasn't overly smoky in there. Good selection of games. Will go back, for sure!

The casino is clean and even though I am a smoker, you couldn't smell any smoke. Before you start gambling you need to ask questions about the slot machines being tied to a computer bingo game, it will help your outcome. I didn't like the fact that they don't have any table games.
