greenwood flea market

As a child, my parents always brought us to this flea market and I always loved coming here. Now, we take our children, who both love it as well. In fact, they always ask us to go.. especially when they are looking for certain things to add to their many collections of "stuff." The flea market is always a fun family outing. Yes, there are some junk items, but mostly some great treasures.. new and old. The vendors prices are reasonable and they will negotiate! The inside building is well laid out and easy to stroll through. Many shops to explore. A concession stand and a nice little area with tables to eat at is stationed at about the middle point. The prices are very reasonable and the food is what you'd expect at any concession stand. The kids love stopping for a snack. When finished with the inside their are many vendors set up outside right in front and in back of building as well. Off to the side is a clutter of old shacks with things piled up inside and out, so this area is a little harder to navigate due to the over load of junk thrown about & piled up. This area is definitely mostly junk. If you enjoy flea markets, then you should visit here. We have found many great items through out the years!

This place has a big variety of goods for just about everyone looking for a bargain. If it is Antiques or collectibles or just something special you are looking for, this place may have it. The flea market also has a good concession stand with some good food. This flea market has been here for 35 years or more and hopefully a lot longer. It has everything from junk to treasures like any other flea market. It is now under new ownership and they are making some good changes, like new restrooms, They are cleaning up around the market to make it look better and to attract more people. We love it and we will hopefully be there for years to come. Go visit this wonderful flea market located right next to Interstate 20. You want be disappointed.
