This golf facility is a great value and fun course to play. The staff are friendly and helpful. The greens are well maintained and fairways well groomed. The course is a challenge but not unfair.

We are return golfers. We like the course with its long fairways and interesting layout. We appreciate how we'll run it appears to be. We enjoy the restaurant's burgers!

Very challenging and great layout. I live near the course and people from Fort Polk comes here to play for a nice upscale course.

I live locally and must admit that the course *can* play challenging but is over-hyped. Oakwing is a semi-private club and is expensive, especially on the weekend. The publicly owned course across from AEX airport, Links on The Bayou is hands-down a better course in my opinion. It's a links-style golf course, meaning it's wide open. I believe a challenging golf course involves experiencing all of the elements, including wind. Links on The Bayou is THE affordable weekday or weekend GEM of Cenla golf courses. Fast and smooth greens is what I LOVE about Links!! If you really crave a challenge, play the Golf Club @ Timber Trails 13 minutes North of Alexandria near the Jena Choctaw Pines Casino (3 miles away). Timber Trails is a family owned 9 hole golf course. It's very hilly in terrain and has very narrow, tight, tree-lined fairways. Oakwing is beautiful in its layout, often has local tournaments but not worth the money. Visit my recommendations before playing Oakwing and experience for yourself.

This is a fabulous local golf course in Alexandria, Louisiana! The course is very well maintained and is quite enjoyable for both ladies and gentlemen!

Golf course is good condition. Club house really nice with nice grill. Staff helpful. In the Spring course is really pretty.

My son and husband play regularly. They love the course. It is well-maintained and supervised. Food and beverages are available. Pro shop is well-equipped. Golf lessons and programs for up and coming young golfers are very good.
