Mrs. Too and Ben visited this park on a road trip to the National Road Museum in Ohio. The park is a surprisingly attractive tract located right along the National Road itself (U.S. Route 40). It encompasses a bandstand and amphitheater, a superbly laid out lake, a very popular playground, and landscaping worthy of any arboretum. Not all that many towns of this size are graced by such a treasure. If you are in the area, don't miss the chance to meander along the trails for a refreshing break.

Our grandkids loved the pool and the slide and it was a great price for the all day pass. They played on the playground and took a ride on the paddle boats plus spent the day at the pool for one great price!

Swimming in the summer, golf, miniature golf, tennis, ice skating in the winter. This park has several historic monuments and a little boating lake in the center. There is also a really good children's play park. Nice short shady walks. Free parking, which is always a bonus.

We played here our 1st day after driving 5 1/2 hours and were so happy they could accommodate us. It is a fun 9 whole course which was in great shape, and just like the staff @ Oglelbay all of the employees were so nice & helpful. Can't wait to go back.

Took my dog for a walk in this park, situated next to an interesting old cemetery. There is a paved path that wanders here and there, including a circuit around Good Lake. We would have spent more time there except that it started to rain. Would have loved to have seen more in the park, like the bandstand, and would have liked to roam the cemetery as well. Mother Nature didn't cooperate. I was in Wheeling for business for 3 days. This was a nice respite.
