We recently visited the Prairie Peddler to get some coffee. The two ladies behind the counter were VERY unfriendly. They did not smile at us once, every question they asked was done so in a very rude manner and they barely thanked us after making our drinks. We walked around the shop for a few minutes before we ordered coffee and didn't get so much as a "hello", or "may I help you?" Will not return nor would I spend another dollar here.

Whenever i am in Shelby for work, I always make time to stop here. The coffee is really tasty and the staff friendly. There is also plenty to browse, making this shop a nice break.

While on an Amtrak delay from the "Empire Builder" my friend an I came across this darling shop! It is a bookstore with a wide variety of titles, a cute gift shop and coffee shop with cafe tables. The staff members were very cheerful and welcoming. I got a great latte with a huge dollop of ice cream in it and I bought some wonderful memoirs written by Montana women. This is on the way for travelers driving Highway 2 E-W or Highway 15 N-S to Canada.
