Park at the boat ramp and information lot (with an outhouse) on the south/east side of the river right off 135.The trail goes west and north (to the left when looking down the boat ramp). Sometimes (like for us) the first part of the trail is flooded by the river. If so you can go down on the other side of the road to reach it.There are some steep ascents with switchbacks at the beginning and periodically the trail gets quite narrow on fairly steep traverses. There are also some small creek crossings but generally the trail isn't very technical and offers excellent riding and views. Be sure to make some noise so you don't surprise a bear or moose. It's almost 10 miles to a forest service road where we turned around and came back.
